bluetooth communication between android and .net apps - android

Anyone please can give sample working code of connectivity and communication between android app and .net web app via BLUETOOTH. I've searched and find lots code examples. I've also seen android bluetooth chat example but none of them could solve my problem. I'm facing problem on connectivity with android and .net web app. Kindly help me regarding this to solve my problem. it should be better if anyone have working code or working example explained.

How Can We Keep the Bluetooth Connections in all Fragment?

Firstly, i have a sign fragment. User signs/logs in my app. Then bluetooth opens and the user sees the bluetooth device list. When the user presses any devices and opens another fragment I want to keep bluetooth connection after the sign fragment for sendind data but how can I do this ? How does it work in fragments ?
After that fragment, i want to keep my connection: (Keep in temperaturefragment actually)

Sharing data over bluetooth in Android

I want to create an android app where I can send and receive simple strings over bluetooth. I am connecting the 2 devices manually/beforehand i.e from the settings and now want to send and receive text. I can't find a simple code to do this.
A simple and step by step explanation of the code would be appreciated.
you can refer to bluetooth chat application from git hub .. and also google provide sample for bluetooth data transfer by using of handler in bluetooth there they use socket to set data over bluetooh please refer this link to start :
https://github.com/googlesamples/android-BluetoothChat
firstly you need bluetootchatservice.java class
import android.bluetooth.BluetoothAdapter;
import android.bluetooth.BluetoothDevice;
import android.bluetooth.BluetoothServerSocket;
import android.bluetooth.BluetoothSocket;
import android.content.Context;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.os.Handler;
import android.os.Message;
import android.util.Log;
import java.io.IOException;
import java.io.InputStream;
import java.io.OutputStream;
import java.util.UUID;
public class BluetoothChatService {
// Debugging
private static final String TAG = "BluetoothChatService";
private static final boolean D = true;
// Name for the SDP record when creating server socket

and you can send message by creating this method in your main activity there you have to send message by converting string to byte ..
private void sendMessage(String message) {
if (message.length() > 0) {
byte[] send = message.getBytes();
mChatService.write(send);
}
}
you can get response of your message in handler that you make in you main activity .. this is basic concept for sending data over blueootth and for more information please refer to google sample bluetooth application.

android service to start activity not reacting like I think it should

I've been working on a program that listens for bluetooth messages to start various apps on my phone. Each of the following work correctly if the main layout is displayed but once one of the commands is called the other does not react properly. Here is the code for the two commands:
if (readMessage.equals("Button"))
{
Intent i = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_MAIN);
PackageManager manager = getPackageManager();
i = manager.getLaunchIntentForPackage("com.google.android.apps.maps");
Log.d("Main","i is: "+ i);
i.addCategory(Intent.CATEGORY_LAUNCHER);
startActivity(i);
Log.d("Main","Map pushed");
}
if (readMessage.equals("Home"))
{
Intent startMain = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_MAIN);
startMain.addCategory(Intent.CATEGORY_HOME);
startMain.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK);
startActivity(startMain);
Log.d("Main","Home pushed");
}
So for example the message home is sent, the app will display the home screen. However if after the home screen is displayed and the message "Button" is sent nothing happens, but I know that the code is called from the Log.
Do I need to put my message handler into it's own service?

The createRFcommSocketToServiceRecord method is not working in Android 2.1/2.2.
There is a workaround to call a non-public method to create the socket:
BluetoothDevice hxm = BluetoothAdapter.getDefaultAdapter().getRemoteDevice(device.getAddress());
Method m;
m = hxm.getClass().getMethod("createRfcommSocket", new Class[]{int.class});
socket = (BluetoothSocket)m.invoke(hxm, Integer.valueOf(1));
This is taken from the following question:
