I recently published my first application so I did Alpha, the console status is "Published", create a community, I've added people, they have accepted the invitation and received the link.
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.package
but after 30-40 minutes the link to download the application is deactivated. my question is I need to do something or how average waiting time for the application is available
this is the link generate by the previous link
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.package
You have to give it time to propagate within all Google servers, so as a ballpark figure I'd say wait 24hours.
It's like publishing any new website.
This answer actually says 48 hours:
Android App Market Update Propagation
Another issue I have noticed with people is, make sure the device they are looking for the link with is signed in with the same Google Account as accepted the G+ group invite

i'm trying to publish my new app on google play. but i'm confused about app status... in dashboard pages, app status showing DRAFT but why? is that a problem? what i have to do for fix this issue? please let me know about the app status. i thing it need to show Production, but it's showing draft. i already fixed all violation from store listing but it's not fixed. please see the screenshot below.
There is no need to worry if the application adheres to the terms and standards of Google developers
And now the application is under review, just wait and the response will come with acceptance and publication, or a response to problems in your application and what must be modified
No need to worry about status being Draft after you making sure that you completed all the required information. It is all about waiting game. Sometimes it takes weeks if they are short of reviewers. I just published mine right now, it says Draft. I have to give it sometime until it changes to Live.
No need to worry application will be publish when it meet all google policy and verified by google after it shown on play store.
Before covid 2020 it takes maximum 48 hours after covid google take 7 days time to verify it.
I published my app in console. Everything went successful (listing, signing apk..). Finally app status came to PRODUCTION. According to google, if app status is production, it means that users can download the app from play store. But if i click view on play store, it shows URL not found. It's already more than 10 hours. Still i get the same message. Any help ?

As per your case and the screenshot provided, your app still "In review".
Excerpt from the above URL:
Note: For certain developer accounts, we’ll take more time to
thoroughly review your app to help better protect users. This may
result in review times of up to seven days or longer in exceptional
cases. You’ll receive a notification on your app's Dashboard about how
long this should take.
So for now, you can only wait.
It will show after 5-7 days. Due to corona it's getting late in few days your app will start showing on google play store
Recently learned of Google's latest testing services. That is Closed Beta testing and Open Beta testing from this link: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/3131213
and http://readwrite.com/2015/07/30/google-beta-test-tools.
Inorder to try the open beta testing feature of the same i have done the following:
Uploaded new APK for beta testing
Set the feed back email ID
Set the max number of testers.
get the Opt-in URL (after doing this i do not find any save button or anything as specified in the documentation.
Circulate this Opt-in URL among the testers.
Below are the issue i'm facing:
When i click on the opt-in URL via my Android device, First it asks me to have logged in. But since i'm trying out the Open beta testing which is not confined to a specific set of Emails (gmails) and any Google+ group or any Google Community, why is it taking me to the google login page?
After i login through my personal mail Id, I get the below error message:
Has any one faced any such issue before? I'm i doing something wrong here?
Any infor regarding same shall be really helpful to any one who wants to try the new beta testing service.
Thanks in advance.
You don't need to set the number of testers if you don't want to. And the save button is labeled Submit and hidden in the top right corner.
Regarding your questions:
The open beta still works in conjunction with the play market. For example, it will push new beta updates if you have the app installed on your device.
I had a chat with the Google Developer Console support. Here is the answer, which worked for me. I waited ~2 hours before trying again:
The reason you're getting this rather vague message is because the Beta (Version 145) was just published 17 minutes ago.
It's still in the process of being published. Once it's fully published, that message should go away and you should be "eligible" to install the Beta.
I published my app last night. It took several hours for it to show up, but eventually it did. It's called "Interesting Wikipedia," but when you search those exact words, it doesn't show up. The direct url works: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tierramaxis.interestingwikipedia
Any ideas? The strange thing is, earlier this morning I searched and it was about the 5th entry in the results. When I searched later though, it's not showing any more. I scrolled through about 250 results and it never showed.

Initial Publish:
I am guessing this is your first app. New apps aren't usually going to be returned at the top of the app search.
When you first publish your application, you need to be patient and wait for Google Play to update and process your application.
For instance, your app is not found under your own developer name:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Kevin+Bright,+Inc.
I did not see it in your search your provided either:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=interesting%20wikipedia&c=apps
The direct link should always work:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tierramaxis.interestingwikipedia
Here are a few things to improve your visibility:
Ratings(I see you already rated your own app)
Sharing your app(Social sites)
Updating "Full Description"(To be easier to read)
Creating a "Short Description"(Try to fill out all the fields provided by Google Play)
Always remember that this is a game of marketing. The more you invest the more will you rise on all social & commercial sites? Let me explain what happened when you upload an application to the
play store...
You will not able to find the app when searching by its name in Google Play Store because your application is not ranked against google distribution servers.
The Play Store is not as easy as we think it is. So these are some
things to implement if you want success...
First of all, Remember that Google won't push your app to the top until you've had more reviews and downloads than your competitors. There are a few things you can do to try and improve your position.
Try to get a more unique name for your App (But must contain a keyword).
Get as many friends and family members as you can to download and review your app.
Use the name a few times in the description of your app.
Improve the text in your app description and info sections on the listing.
Give it some time and perform ASO (APP Store Optimization)
Promote your application across different platforms like Blogs, youtube, Facebook pages.
Use ad services like google ads or Facebook ads to gain organic users.
I published an application with a unique name "Weather++" one month back and It's ranked with the help of ASO and proper keywords. It has 1000+ reviews and 50,000+ downloads in a short period of time.
So remember….
(Formula for my success)
ASO + App Markeetring + Reviews = App Ranking
ASO+ AM+ R = AR
Play store rank apps on top based on good ASO and deep links associated with apps along with downloads and reviews. (Always remember to gain organic users)
I have a paid app in the Play Store (Profile Widget, in case anyone is wondering ;)) and I want to allow some users (friends, or people who do not have a credit card) to download it for free.
Of course I could just send them the APK, but they wouldn't get the updates automatically, and with every update to the app I would have to send them all the APK file again. And also, by using this method, anyone that had access to the APK file would be able to install the app for free.
I saw that by using the Android Licensing Library you could make some users bypass the License Check, but I want the app to show as "Purchased" for them in the Play Store, and I don't think this would do it.
I searched Stack Overflow but none of the solutions I found (like creating a separate APK and checking for its existence from the "real" app) handled the auto-update part.
Has anyone found a good solution for this?
Thanks in advance!
You can now generate and distribute promo codes to current and new users on Google Play to drive engagement. Under the Promotions tab in the Developer Console, you can set up promo codes for your apps, games, and in-app products to distribute in your own marketing campaigns (up to 500 codes per app, per quarter). Consider using promo codes to reward loyal users and attract new customers.

The best solution is to have them buy the app, then refund their purchase. It would still show up as paid. Alternatively, you could give them the app, and license it via the LVL, and configure their email addresses as test accounts listing as purchased., but then they won't get updates.
I have the same problem, I've checked and from what I can see there is no analog to the Apple system (Give out a one-use code to download the app).
If you just give them the APK you don't get Crash/ANRs from them and they won't automatically get updates.
It is something that Google really do need to fix, sorry there isn't a better option.
(I have the same problem for my own device (you can't buy your own app), I had a crash that was rare in the app on my own phone, but I couldn't reproduce it at a computer and the logs had well cycled past the error by the time I did, Being able to get the crash report through the developer console would have saved me a lot of mucking around)
this is an updated and no credit card method.
You can create a free version of the same app in the play store,
but publish it in alpha release.
Then, you can create a google+ provate group of alpha testers and set it as the tester group for the alpha version.
Now add the 'free licensed' users to the alpha testing group and they have your free app.
To push updates, you will have to upload updates also to the 'free alpha', that's not gold, but I think is pretty close to the best you can get at the moment
This method has an issue. As long as licensing is per-App, you will have a different license key, and it may always return TRUE, so if the users share the apks, they may be able to let other people use the app, not totally sure about this occurrence, but you are warned, better if you are sharing the free app to trusted users.
You can set up a sale at price zero for the paid app and let your contacts know about it. Google allows up to 8 days of the sale at a time, but you can also set it up for a single day. This way, you may still get a few downloads from unintended recipients, but the 'problem' will be far more controlled than if you were to mail out APKs. Other problems like updates are also solved automatically.
You can upload in third party app stores like Amazon App Store, Aptoide , www.proapk.in to allow users to download paid Android apps for free.
For downloading the app as a developer: Google Playstore's official word on this, is that you must create a 2nd google account to download the app you are listed as developer for. That way the stats for downloads and terms are not breached. Spoke about same issue today (though its a while after the question was posted, others should see this with similar issues)
For giving it away free: Can't you just change the app to free at a given time then notify those people to hit it during a certain window?
