When i use customdots.xml in the listView Divider as
android:divider="#drawable/customdots"
it shows a good dotted line
I was pulling my hair on this issue too until I figured out there is a bug in the latest versions of Android when rendering lines like this.
This bug can be circumvented by adding android:layerType="software" to the view which is using the dotted line as a background.
Example:

I am trying not to use image view. This is because, later, I will generate many objects with the same shape but different colors, so I wouldn't need to keep adding image views but simply adding colors on my code.
How can I create those images on Android Studio? I looked over Paint, onDraw, Canvas, etc, but this looks difficult to me.

The problem is that I have a random space between each row that has the same color as the listView backgroundColor and if I set the dividerHeight to 4px I can see my divider. How can I remove the space that gets created automatically and only have my custom divider?

You could use a trick by creating a drawable shape with gradient and make it a parent's background... something like this:
