I am searching for a tool/software for black box testing of android apps. I researched for some of them-Robotium, Calabash. But these tools require access to the source codes.
Also the tool should be free and opensource for use.
The Android SDK itself offers:
the Test Monkey
monkeyrunner
UIAutomator
You can also use Calabash-Android. It does not need access to source code and you can use it with a signed .apk file. You would only need to know the id of the UI elements if you want to manipulate them.

Is it possible to generate Screenshots for Android via a script?
The problem is: I have an app with 8 languages and I need to create new localized screenshots. Is there a tool to run it once for one language and then to regenerate the ecreenshots for the other languages?
You can use fastlane to generate the screenshot using espresso test.
https://docs.fastlane.tools/getting-started/android/screenshots/
You can use a Macro recorder for android, there's plenty of apps out there that can automate things.
Just record the actions for one language and play them again after selecting other languages.
Example apps:
MacroDroid

I am told to make an automation testing using android apk only. I tried to use robotium but it requires me to use eclipse. I am currently using android studio. If there is any can you include a link to its tutorial? Thank you.
You can also use Appium. It is a test automation tool for native mobile app testing. It drives iOS and Android apps using the WebDriver protocol.

I'm a web developer but I'm moving in the app development direction. I was just wondering if there is a possibility to buy and download ready made themes that you can use in the development and tweak to your desires? Both for Android and iOS. Thinking about sites similar to themeforest and so on. I did search themeforest but couldn't find more than a couple of themes for app development.
Check out this link
But it's better you learn to create your own themes from scratch since you may run into errors in the long run and will need to know how to go about it

My computer stopped working recently. Is it still possible for me to develop games directly from my android device?
I have already tried playir, but decided I ideally want something more advanced than a drag-and-drop tool.
Actually, there is an app that allows you to write and compile native Android apps using Java and C/C++, just as you would within Android Studio or Eclipse on a PC.
The app is called AIDE: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aide.ui&hl=en
There is nothing more advanced than writing actual code.

I'm looking for a free tool on Macbook for Android GUI design. I just want to easily draw GUI prototype for review purpose with internal team and customer. Could anybody recommend me a tool? If no such recommendation on Macbook, Windows based tool is acceptable too.
I tried a couple but the one I liked the most was Pencil, available as standalone application and as a firefox plugin. I searched a time ago, so chances are that you could find something better, but it's worthy to give it a try.
