Setting wallpaper from image URL when loaded into view - android

I have set up my app to load lots of images/wallpapers from an external source/link then load those images into view so the user can scroll through them.
I am wanting to make it so once the user clicks on the image they have in view, it will then set is as their wallpaper.
Here's my class:
public class Question extends FragmentActivity implements OnClickListener {
private static final String IMAGE_CACHE_DIR = "images";
public static final String EXTRA_IMAGE = "extra_image";
private ImagePagerAdapter mAdapter;
private ImageFetcher mImageFetcher;

getWindowManager().getDefaultDisplay().getMetrics(displayMetrics);
final int height = displayMetrics.heightPixels;
final int width = displayMetrics.widthPixels;
final int longest = (height > width ? height : width) / 2;
ImageCache.ImageCacheParams cacheParams = new ImageCache.ImageCacheParams(
this, IMAGE_CACHE_DIR);
cacheParams.setMemCacheSizePercent(0.25f);
mImageFetcher = new ImageFetcher(this, longest);
mImageFetcher.addImageCache(getSupportFragmentManager(), cacheParams);
mImageFetcher.setImageFadeIn(false);

Take a look in Set Wallpaper using WallpaperManager here
and don't forget to add the below permission to your Manifest:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.SET_WALLPAPER"/>

Adapter is multiplying with the same data android

I have a SwitchTabActivty with 4 items. In my case, I use the second item to get some data from the web through a recyclerview. The problem is that when I press the fourth item (it contains a button that's starting an activity) and I go back to my second tab , my recycler view is multiplied with the same data again.
Switchtabactivity :
public class SwitchTabActivity extends AppCompatActivity {

// primary sections of the activity.

layout.setOnClickListener(this);
}
#Override
public void onClick(View view) {
//context.startActivity(new Intent(context, WebViewActivity.class));
}
}
}
Those are some of my java classes that I use for this kind of thing.
Anyway, another problem is that, when I change the location ( to receive my events) I must go to another tab and after that to come back to see my events list ( I think it needs to recreate the view ) so , because of that I called onResume, but it does not help.

Fragment is showing but not attached to activity

Hi i am working in an app, in which:
View pager is there on an activity.
On that view pager i am showing 2 fragments(frag1 and frag2).
on button click on frag1 we have added one more fragment(lets say frag3).
and on back press on frag3 i come back on frag1.
Issue:
the issue is when i come back to frag1 from frag3 on back press, sometimes frag1 is not attached to the activity.
i am not able to figure out how this is happening.
if this is happening then what is the solution so i can stop activity to detach the frag1 or re-initialize the frag1 again.
Please help.

Reset TouchImageView zoom in ViewPager

I have activity for fullscreen browsing of images (something like gallery). In this activity I have ViewPager with offscreen limit 6. I use TouchImageView for my images.
The problem is, that when I first zoom image and swipe to another photo, I want to see not zoomed photo when I return to it. TouchImageView has resetZoom() function, but how can I get offscreen page view from the FragmentStatePageAdapter or from ViewPager?
Here's code of my activity:
public class ImageSlidesActivity extends FragmentActivity implements ViewPager.OnPageChangeListener {
final int PAGE_LIMIT = 6;
final int PAGE_MARGIN = 8;
long userID;
long deviceID;
String key;
String[] mAttachments;

ActionBar actionBar = getActionBar();
actionBar.setDisplayHomeAsUpEnabled(true);
//actionBar.setBackgroundDrawable(new ColorDrawable(Color.parseColor("#33ffffff")));
Intent intent = getIntent();
mAttachments = intent.getStringArrayExtra("attachments");
int position = intent.getIntExtra("position", 0);
SharedPreferences pref = getApplicationContext().getSharedPreferences("authData", 0);
key = pref.getString("key", null);
userID = pref.getLong("userID", 0);
deviceID = pref.getLong("deviceID", 0);

}
});

mPager.setOnPageChangeListener(this);
mPager.setOffscreenPageLimit(PAGE_LIMIT);
mPager.setCurrentItem(position-1);
/* cause bug with the white strip

mPager.setPageMargin((int) (PAGE_MARGIN * density + 0.5f));
mPager.setPageMarginDrawable(android.R.color.black);

I overrided onPageSelected method and I get views by calling getChildAt().
#Override

if (position > 0) {
View view = mPager.getChildAt(position -1);
if (view != null) {

View view = mPager.getChildAt(position + 1);
if (view != null) {
TouchImageView img = (TouchImageView) view.findViewById(R.id.image);
img.resetZoom();
}
}
}
It can also be achieved by setting a normal page transformer in the view pager
binding.viewPager.setPageTransformer { page, position ->
// Reset zoom on previous/next item
if (position == -1f || position == 1f) {
(page as PhotoView).apply {
scale = 1f
}
}
}

Setting OnClick to ViewPager not functioning

I am having some trouble with implementing OnItemClick to the ViewPager.
I would like it so when I click on one of my picture's being displayed by the ViewPager, it displays a toast message just to tell me that this is working.
So far, nothing happens when I click on one of my items when doing this.
Any help would be appreciated!

Actionbar retaining menu item in Gingerbread and below

I'm having a strange problem using an ActionView in my Actionbar (specifically ActionbarSherlock). This issue is only happening in devices below SDK 3.0 (basically Gingerbread devices is all I'm testing on).
My app has a ViewPager and I am animating one of my menu items while an AsyncTask is running. If I touch the ActionView before swiping everything is ok, if I swipe to any of the views, then go back to the first view, which is the only view to have the ActionView, and touch the ActionView the icon is doubling up on itself, like so:
I had this same issue previously, before I implemented a ViewPager, and I fixed it by stopping and starting the animation in onCreateOptionsMenu and calling invalidateMenuOptions, which is why I have ActivityCompat.invalidateOptionsMenu(this); in onResume of the Activity. I was hoping, by calling that, the menu would refresh itself and fix the duplicating, but it isn't.
UPDATE Using getSherlock().dispatchInvalidateOptionsMenu(); seems to, at least, get the menu to refresh itself, but it causing the ActionView to go nuts.
ViewPager:

mViewPager.setAdapter(mMyFragmentPagerAdapter);
mViewPager.setOnPageChangeListener(new OnPageChangeListener() {
#Override
public void onPageSelected(int position) {
GetListingFragment().StopAnimation(); //needed to add this because the ActionView was showing on the other views when swiping
}

Looks like this is a known bug in ABS:
