I added AdMob sdk to my android application.
And all set perfectly. Now, I am looking to filter ads to only display apps adds.
Now, its displaying links to websites too. What can I do.
There is no way to do this.
And why would you want to limit ads to only show those for apps. It would be reducing potential revenue for you.

If I have a page on my android app which is related to cars, can I customise the ads shown so that only ads about cars appear?
I have set ads by using Google's AdMob. How far can I customise the ads that appear? Could I provide specific keywords like "cricket" or "backpacks"?
I want the ad to be an AdMob native ad.
I would need the same for an iOS app.
Native ads are only given to selected developers/companies who make more money for Google, and I don't think there is certain criteria that is mentioned anywhere to be eligible to get those.
As the page for Native Ads here says:
Note: Native Ads Advanced is currently released to a limited set of
publishers. If you're interested in participating, reach out to your
account manager to discuss the possibility.
If you absolutely want the Native Ads into your app, you can use Facebook Ads platform for monetization as they offer Native Ads without any special requirements.
You can select only ads related to car by disabling all the other ads from your admob panel. You can disable the other ads by going into "Blocking Controls" section of your app. But it'd not be good move as Google caters ads based on what user needs, if your app is about car, showing only ads related to cars "MIGHT" benefit you, but it'd drastically reduce your fill rate which will affect your revenue very very much.
Can I know whether there is a way to refine the Ads according to the users needs or user browsing content and show only those Ads in my app in android.
Thanks in advance.
If you are adding the ads in the mobile then its totally depends on the ads provider. If you are adding the admob full screen ads then they provide to option his console for image and video ads only. It depends on the ads provider. You can not refine the ads as per your requirements.
The library of ads provide will automatically grab the data from the phone and display the ads according to it.
can anyone please tell me how admob is getting his current location to display the suitable ad-language.
I finished my multilanguage app and want to implement admob.
Now I dont know how admob detects the phones location. Does admob this manage itself or do I have to set this manually (create banners for all languages my app supports)?
I havent find any answer, thanks! (Im new to admob)
Are you talking about publishing or advertising? If publishing then Admob handles everything. If advertising, then I suspect that Admob will handle everything if you are using a text ad.
I have following requirement for Ad-Integration.
I want My app should be populated only with the Ads created by Me.No other Ads should be supplied-to or feed-to my app.
I would like to do Analysis of Ad I integrated.
Currently Admob and Inmobi are populating my app with the Ads what they want.
But I don't want to do that.
I have account on both Admob as well as Inmobi.
But I haven't got any option on admin-panel to achieve my requirement.
Can anyone tell In what direction I move ahead to achieve this?or
Can anyone suggest an Ad-network which will suit my requirement?
With AdMob, you can set up house ads and fully allocate them so that they always get shown in place of network ads. You'll get reporting on requests, impressions, and cilcks on your house ad campaigns as well.
I have to make an Android application in which my client would show certain advertisements that he has.
He has asked me for a proper framework that can be used on the Android plaform so that he can use it to add the ads he wants, while I would, on the phone end, integrate the advertisment feature (using the advertisement provider's API to display the advertisement).
Is this arrangement possible? If so, which would be the best API for me to use? It does not matter if it is paid or not.
Thank you in advance.
Use Adwhirl from Admob, and you display house ads in addition to Admob ads. You can use ads from any amount of networks as well.

Consider house ads in Admob, they are very easy to set up and use. You can set your app to 100% house ads.
MobFox has a flexible adserver feature in addition to house ads, but I haven't tested it yet.
