Eclipse ADT is giving me empty error messages, every time I click on the Graphical Layout window.

Details
I have connected a samsung device and install kies driver software, and this happened after I tried to test the application on the real device.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance !

Try switching to a new window.
Just right click on any of the file names on the top menu, and click on "new window".

Seems to be a problem with the render target of API 19. Try changing the render target to something lower than 19, e.g. 18. (That's the little Android symbol with the number and the dropdown arrow above the rendered layout.) It fixed the issue for me.

I encountered the same error message when using Eclipse 4.3.2.M20140221-1700
The solution was to update the "Google plugin for Eclipse" to version 3.6.0.v201406262229-rel-r43
Interestingly enough, the I still received the exception when altering multiple choices at the Google GWT/App properties. So the workaround was the alter one property at the time, even changing the menu and changing property would cause the exception to appear.

So it looks like you are using 22.6. Therefore just run AVD Manager from outside Eclipse until they release a 22.6.1 to fix this bug
Have you tried to remove android-sdk and install it again?

How to fix Eclipse ADT Plugin 22.3 / SDK Tools 22.3 with broken properties window?

I recently updated the other day to the latest version of the Android ADT Plugin and SDK Tools which supports Android 4.4 KitKat. When I select a view in the graphical layout editor the properties window fields are not clickable to allow me to type into them nor can I push the 3 dots next to a field.
Using Windows 8.1 64 Bit and Eclipse Keplar. Was working fine until the update.
When looking at the Eclipse Error Log it shows

Is there any solution to this problem?
Workaround: switch to Android-18 in Graphical Layout (green Android top-right).
It is a bug with KitKat layout renderer.

I can open the file if I right-click on it, and tell it t open with the Legacy Android Layout editor, but it's obviously not good solution. I tried going into Eclipse preferences, and made sure that the file associations for the XML files are set correctly.
I solved this problem by closing all open project files in the editor and restarting Eclipse.
I switch to a new workspace, then everything works fine.

Not able to open graphical editor view in android ADT 16.0.0

Went through many posts I found on the graphical editor problem I am facing. Not able to get an answer. Here is the issue
I am using Android ADT 16.0.0 and I am able to open the graphical editor but not able to see the user interface view. The app on the whole builds and works fine on the simulator. It is annooying to use only XML editor.
I installed this environment by copying the SDK, ADT plugins separately from a successful installtion. It looks as though something related to the Android Layout Editor is missing. The error thrown is
