I want my TextView, EditText and Button to be centered. In landscape view (horizontal) they seem to be centred but in portrait(vertical) screen, they are in centre at the top of the screen.
How am I gonna fix it that no matter which view is this, they all stay in centre of screen?

Problem is that you set height of the root layout to "match_parent"

How to place the item to the right side of the screen instead of center?

i am unable to lock some part of the screen while using "Scroll View"

Change scrollview height to 0dp and give weight as 1.
Change button layout gravity to bottom instead of center.

Gravity for Linear Layout

Can anyone help me in giving the gravity for four buttons developed in a vertical linear layout which is again in horizontal linear layout with progress bar. I need the whole buttons and the progress bar in the bottom of my screen. Please help me out.
