Android center horizontal not working

I got this code, a linearlayout inside relativelayout... however its not centering horizontally... any idea why?
i want the linearlayout to be horizontall centered. i am filling it with images via code.

In the LinearLayout, try setting the layout_width to "wrap_content". Right now, you're stretching it to the full width of the window, so there's nothing to center.

How to merge Linear Layout and Table Layout at android?

I'm new android. I have a little bit stack in designing layout for Android. In my scenario, I have two button with Linear Layout. Here my xml.

When I add new TableLayout inside Linear Layout. I got this.

Give orientation as vertical to the LinearLayout not the TableLayout.Put Two buttons in a LinearLayout with orizontal orientation and give orientation "vertical" for the parent LinearLayout

Check this out, I just checked it on my Machine and it works as desired, although the background preference and the display strings have been removed.

take Relative Layout as a parent layout.

This answer tells only implementation of button_bar_layout for all android versions with buttons at the bottom/top of an activity which look like AlertDialog with OK/Cancel buttons.

How to setup can make the top of LinearLayout no deformation like the LinearLayout of bottom ?

Have you tried changing all the android:layout_height values from match_parent to wrap_content?

i think you should use scaleType to get your image look nice
prefer fitXY
like that

If you use weight on each element with will also cause spaces. So use for object for important.

LinearLayout being pushed off the screen

So for my landscape layout of a page, I want to have a sort of horizontal layout. However, my FrameLayout including my ListView goes off the screen, even though it's set to android:layout_width="match_parent". Here's a screenshot of what I mean:
The blue line is the outline of where the FrameLayout is going, when it is set to match parent.

I would recommend you that, instead of using match_parent, use wrap_content, becuase, actually, whats happening is that the framelayout has the same width of the screen, so, as it isn't at the left of the screen, it goes off.
