There is a problem with getting my in-line position in google-maps. Method "getLastKnownLocation" isn't suitable for me.
I just need to turn on GPS and find my location in the same way as it is in google map programm.
Is there some another ways how to do that?

I got the current location latitude and longitude while giving on in a switch button in android and displaying the location in google map. But I need the latitude and longitude changes automatically wherever the device moves and the location on the map should change with respect to the position. How is it possible? Can anyone give me a way?
You could have a look at GoogleApiClient.
You can use requestLocationUpdates(...) to get the users position in a given intervall.
You can find more Info here
But honestly you could have find the answer on your own if you googled a bit.
I am working on app. When user click on button he will get current location using GPS.
All is working fine but one problem.
Problem
There might be some location where gps will not work...like closed area...and gps can not find location...at that time it will return previously know location...Previously known location may be too older or wrong.
so at that time I want no location found instead of last location.
Is there any way to check if fix is available or not ?

for Google map v2(the latest version),you should implements the LocationSource to update current location , than also you do need make a location request use LocationClient to get current location then update it with LocationSource.OnLocationChangedListener
I am currently working on a GPS tracking App for track packages and parcels right from android smart-phone.
After user finishing put their tracking nO., I would like to be able to analyses this data and find their item information. It also can be track location on GPS to view current location in map-view.
-What would be a good way to smooth the track?
I know that I'll need to implement the tracking in a service, and probably show a notification to user for to easier to know thier item have arrived.
-I have read : Create an Android GPS tracking application
and
https://code.google.com/p/open-gpstracker/
-and also, what is the best way to do connect GPS tracking information with the user data that already have in the website?
like my refr.ex :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=br.com.tribotech.trackpack&hl=en
Firstly, you need to know the API of the package carrier you intend to track packages for. Package carriers always provide an API for programmers to get information about parcels.
Examples
UPS: https://www.ups.com/upsdeveloperkit
NZ Post: http://www.nzpost.co.nz/products-services/iphone-apps-apis/tracking-api
etc..
Then write your app to use these API's. Some carriers may provide a GPS based tracking system, which is what you want for your tracking thing.
I want to get user's location in my app. So, I read documentations and know how to get it work. But, if user haven't set "Alloy apps to use internet/GPS to get location" in preferences, my app crashes.
The only way I found is to show dialog that location settings are not enabled and to go programmaticaly to location preferences.
But is there another way to solve this? I saw many apps (like yandex.maps) that do not request this settings being enabled.
well, your app should not install if the user doesn't agree to the terms of use, and allow the permissions requested.
still you should check to see that there's a way to look the information up when you want it.
in your code, before the actual test for user's location, you should probably call a function that checks for all the location manager listings, and return false if there's no way to determine this.
if the function returns false, you should prompt the user and do nothing. else, you should do what it is you're trying to do.
try reading vogella's tutorial about using location manager
