I'm finding that using transitions of any kind in the default "Internet" browser on android devices is painful. The performance is appalling, whether it's javascript or CSS transitions. It's not the device as Chrome performs exceptionally.
Is there any kind of hack to force the Android Internet browser to perform as expected, with hardware acceleration, or is it the IE of mobile browsers and we're all doomed?
You can change the default browser to another like Firefox or Chrome.
In newer versions of Android, Chrome is the default browser.

We are experiencing problems with our phonegap / cordova apps on Android 4.4.3. It was working well on all the previous version of KitKat, but now, the buttons of our apps are not working well anymore:
-> we have to click several time in order to let the click happens. It's like the click/touch are not always registered
We are using Intel App Framework V2.0.4 and cordova 3.4
Maybe it's a problem of fast click and ontouchstart/end, because .the Android 4.4.3 has a lot of changes regarding events.

There are some settings in the developer options (Settings --> Developer options) in Android that might cause this behavior.
For example the "Don't keep activities" is on or the "Background processes limit" is too low.

It seems that homepage http://nosy-x.com is perfect working by display
with firefox and chrome - but only in desktop computers.
Display is not correct in internet explorer and not in Android-Versions of firefox and of chrome. Apparently this is not directly to do with my code, it looks as if code of Android-Browssers with display in firefox and in chrome is different than those for desktop computers(concerning display of homepages).
Can I add for chrome and firefox in Android a general code for correct display ?
How would this look ?!
At present the relationship between browser and graphical file (pixels) is not correct somehow? All browsers have different output in their display concerning outfit of website with its pixels ...
thx.
I'm not really sure what your question is, but to make a website responsive and make it display the way you want on different screens css media queries is a good place to start. Take a look here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_mediatypes.asp

Do you know how to set an Android or iPhone device's datetime
using a feaure within your mobile app
that you built using Delphi XE5?
This should of course happen at runtime.
Delphi offers no cross-platform way of setting the system time.
On iOS, you don't have access to the API for changing the time; that functionality is reserved for the OS.
On Android, you need elevated privileges, and then you can use AlarmManager.setTime. At that point, your problem is simply one of adapting the native Java techniques to Delphi. I assume that's pretty much the same for any API, so it's beyond the scope of this question.

I am trying to run this app, but it works fine in the emulator, but on the phone it force closes when I click the speak button on it, it goes straight to a force close. What are the possible factors contributing to it not working on my phone?
the problem must be with your default TTS speach engine ,,,Check the following Link u may get suugestion
Android not acknowledging TTS Engine
There are multiple reasons why your app crashes.
Your device might be running Android that is before your app's SDK target.Check your logs, search for that method or object see if it is part of the device's OS version. Fragments are compatible with preHoneycomb devices using the compatibilty library.
