How to Install HTK on Android? - android

Similar to this question. Since I don't want to pass the voice data to a server, doing this may cost me more time. I wonder if I can use HTK to recognize the voice data locally with the Android application so that I won't need to pass that audio to the server.
Here may be the solution, but can anyone give me a more detialed tutorial on how to build HTK with android ndk? Thank you!

If you don't find a library, you can have the code of an open source project like Android Mary TTS and reuse whatever is necessary.

A few questions about webRTC on android

I have a few questions about webRTC on android. I can say I'm new about android and webRTC but I can also say I made tooo much research about webRTC on android. But still have a few questions. (some of them because of I'm new, and some of them because of I'm okey but not fully)
I'm trying to make an android app which is going to communicate between web browser (first choice is chrome) and android device directly (p2p we can say). So I made too much research and I found webRTC is good for me. Do you advise me something other or is it okey you think? (also I am going to code a plugin for chrome).
Nearly every document says 'android is not directly support webRTC'. So I need something to provide me webRTC on android. What it is? Is it native android that I have to code? Is it native (NDK) library that I have to include my project? Or is it a java lib? Or should I go for cordova/crosswalk or sth like that? I researched all but didn't find something can help me. Yeah there are documents about it but not enough..
Some of documents says, I need chromium. But why and how? They show me lots of linux terminal commands and even there is no a line java or C or C++ code. Even some terminal commands and links that they give is not working.

As others have suggested, I recommend checking out g.co/webrtc. As I understand it, your goal is to make Android connect to a web browser using WebRTC. There are two (three) ways you can achieve that.
You can just use Chrome, Opera or Firefox for Android. All these browsers support WebRTC, and it allows you to use the same code for your web app, as for your Android app. With the new Add to homescreen support, as well as support for push notifications from web apps on Android, this could be a very good solution for you.
You can use the Android native WebRTC library, available from WebRTC.org. As mentioned in my article, I recommend using the pristine.io compiled library, available from MavenCentral.
If you can limit your application to Lollipop, you can use WebView, which support WebRTC now iirc. I don't know much about it though.
And the best resource for getting help is discuss-webrtc. It's a lot more active than StackOverflow.

Simple alternative for gstreamer on android

For training and fun I want to build an android app, that is able to stream audio from one device to another. It will be a simple baby-phone app.
I've tried using gstreamer, but have some trouble including the binaries and building the eclipse project. However, now I am looking for alternatives. Does any one know a simple one? Or is there even some android api stuff I can use? Please note: the difficult thing is not receive a stream, but provide one...

Android AIML BOT?

I have a few Questions related to AIML integration in the Android OS. I know not much of Java but I do know a lot about AIML. I made the AIML files and now what I want to do is to make one app which can load the files and run them in a GUI. Please tell me a way to do this. If AIML is not possible, is there a C++ way to do it? Please reply fast. I know C++, C and AIML. Not much JAVA or other programming Languages. I am not interested in hosting a web based application as I don't have a site and can't get one.
FYI- AIML stands for 'Artificial Intelligence Markup Language'.

The chatterbots use a complicated algorithm. Simply, the chatterbot executable searches for categories with the underscore wildcard. Next, categories with no wildcard are searched. Last, the star wildcards are checked. When the pattern matches the input, then the AIML interpreter handles the code in the template tags. You may want to look at the source code for this chatterbot to get an idea about how they work.

It's written in java and very easy to integrate in an android app.
I don't know if there is any c/c++ chatbots. If it's available then you can try integrating them using Android Native development kit(called NDK).
NDK is used to write android apps in c++. I personally wont be able to help you with NDK.
But I have integrated program-ab into android app using java. Its pretty simple.

Traceroute on android

I am a beginner on android platform, and I want to build a tracerouting app. So these are my queries:
Is it possible to make such an application in Android? if possible then guide me the way that I follow.
Does Android support low-level programming to capture ICMP packets? or do I need to add some kind of JAR (in java) or some other libraries to support this application?
In Java, there are JPCAP and docjar etc kind of libraries that we can import in our IDE or Eclipse so that Java support for making such kind of API's?
I need valuable suggestions.

The simplest way I can think of is to just check for the traceroute Linux application, execute it, and parse its output.
Android has full networking support, however, Java doesn't expose an interface to alter the IP header. Hence, manually crafting ICMP packages is out of the question (JPCAP is no help here, since it relies on libpcap, which I suppose you won't find on any vanilla installation).
Another possible solution is to use the NDK and create a small library that handles the low-level number crunching. However, I'm not sure if the NDK would allow you to use setsockopt.
This is working pretty well for me, you may have to filter out the string results.
To add this library, you have to download or clone the git repository and implement the folder "library" just as he does in the other module "app" for it to work properly.
