Using Unity3d Scene with a PhoneGap application - android

We are working on a Mobile Application which has to be developed on IOS and Android Platforms. Most of the application is straight forward which is display content from a back end CMS system for which we are considering using PhoneGap. The application has one module in which the user can browse through a virtual house and be able to modify colors / replace a particular item like a chair etc. This can be easily done using Unity3d which we have in place. Using Unity3d for the whole application is probably going to be an overkill and there will be a lot of effort required on the Application Front or if we go the PhoneGap route managing the 3d thing is going to be a challenge.
The question I have is if there is any way we can export the Unity Scene and use it in a PhoneGap build since we will get best of both packages? If not that what are the options to get Unity3d working (UI and Services for Application) for doing an Application or doing some stuff with PhoneGap which helps to get the 3d part sorted.

Figured out he solution.
Using Phonegap completely. For the 3d Module using Panorama image and displaying it using https://github.com/nicekei/jQuery-html5-canvas-panorama-plugin for interactivity. There are many other plugins available for jquery and mobile friendly. I choose to use the above one. You can find more on http://www.jquery4u.com/plugins/10-jquery-panorama-image-display-plugins/. For walk through using annotations to link it to another page which will give a 3D Panorama for that room.
You can render stills from a 3d software and stitching them using any Panoramic stitcher Photoshop also does the job. Hope it helps.

I am looking for a way to insert a mini game feature in my app.

I am an Android Developer who uses Kotlin. Someone needs to make a game and export it and import it to Android Studio project. So, I can't make the games and maintain the source code. So, This document isn't helpful.
And I found rive app. It's like lottie but can add some events and listeners with number or boolean conditions. It has State Machine that can connect the native app and interact between the rive animation and the native app. That's it. And It doesn't support everything like normal game engines do. I need to make timelines to create animations and no sound, etc.
I tried to find better way to implement an app like miniapp. And I've found Zepeto. it uses a lot of 3D animations. It uses Jetpack compose. That's very interesting point. How can I implement 3D modelings with native app? Is there any way to create 3D animation and the virtual environment like Zepeto?

Xamarin Forms Game Development

I am new to Game Development. However, have been using Xamarin and Xamarin.Forms for quite a while now.
I am trying to build a game (for Android and iOS) which will have many screens, one of which will have a view like Clash Of Clans in game view (i.e. the attack view). I am guessing it will like Isometric Projection (https://gamedevelopment.tutsplus.com/tutorials/creating-isometric-worlds-a-primer-for-game-developers--gamedev-6511). I know that I can build most of the gaming screen like Play Game, View account and so on using Xamarin Forms.
What I would like to know is, is it possible to build the isometric projection view using Xamarin.Forms and if so is it ideal to build it in Forms (like using Tiled with Cocosharp OR maybe using Unity or URHO)?
Ideally, we would like to have one code base and hence we are going for Xamarin.Forms . But I am not sure if it will provide the best outcome compared to building it seperatly for Android and iOS.

if you want to use Unity3D the only solution to use it within Xamarin.Forms would be to create a BrowserGame with Unity3D and then call it from a webview. But if you are new to Game Development as you said, maybe CocosSharp is the way to go. Augmented Reality framework for sending to a video

I am new to Augmented Reality, and I was wondering if there was already an existing Framework available for my situation. I want to make an App that scans a non coded image (bottle, pen, phone etc.), and based on the image, sends the user to a specific video.
Is there anything like this currently available? I think this would be more marker based, but I am not entirely sure. Thanks in advance!
I have used this in my app. I found it pretty easy and it did good work in my app. Its Motorola's augmented reality framework.

you just drag the video you want over the image you want to trigger it and then deploy it.
If you'd prefer to actually code it within a framework, you can try the metaio sdk, which also allows you use 3D objects for tracking-- i.e you said track an image of a pen, but why not track the pen itself? Tutorials and more info here:

Is there a Framework that recognizes a 3D image and send to a video?

Is there an android Framework that can be used in an app to recognize a 3D image and send the user to a video. This should fall under augmented reality, but so far everything I have viewed uses 2D image and stuff to produce a 3D image on the screen... My situation is backwards from that. I tried using vuforia but I couldn't get the sdk to work, and unity needs an android license. DroidAr doesn't seem to fit the bill either. Or are there any tutorials on this matter? Thanks.
I have not used the feature, but Metaio has a 3D object, "markerless" tracking feature as well as the ability to do video playback within the SDK. I am sure if you would rather simply redirect to a video (YouTube) or something this would not be exceptionally difficult.

Metaio's mobile SDK is similar to Vuforia, so if you had trouble with that you might have difficulty getting it up and running. If your programming skills aren't up to that, you might consider looking into Junaio, an AR browser made by Metaio. With Junaio you simply create a content channel rather than having to build the app from scratch. Again, I have not actually tried this feature yet but the documentation seems to indicate that 3D tracking is available in Juniao:

Android Dev - Text based game within an app

I am looking to add a simple text based trivia type game within an app I already have built for a Business. We would like to get more user interaction in the app. Further, I would like to have high scores...etc display in the app.
Creating a web serice and MySQL database would be simply enough to capture scores and query to top score. However, Is there soemthing like a free game API or something that would make this a lot easier than creating a game from scratch? I have seen some really complex game api's, but I am not trying to make an entire app. Just add a simple trivia game inside my app.
Any suggestions? Comments?

Radical Breeze's Illumination Software Creator has a tutorial on building a text-based game with their program. Illumination is a visual development environment like App Inventor.
If you don't want to go through the tutorial, I believe you can just download the code for the game. The program comes in a free download version. Illumination generates full source code for a number of platforms, including Android, though I think you may have to pay for mobile platform code generation. (Payment is "choose your own price".)
All generated code is "native". I.e., no special API.
