Samsung ChatOn API throws RESULT_CODE_FAIL_EXCEPTION - android

I am trying to integrate Samsung SDK in my android project. All I need to do is to send a text message with url to the ChatOn app using the Client ChatON API. On executing this call:
int nResult = MessageAPI.sendTextMessageWithURL (getApplicationContext(), "Hello",
"http://www.chaton.com");
It returns 3 (RESULT_CODE_FAIL_EXCEPTION) with this error message: "Exception!!\nPlease, check argument"
I couldn't find any relevant documentation also on what kind of exceptions can be thrown and reasons behind them. Does anyone know more about what is the problem because of which this error code (3) is returned?

You need to install the official application of Samsung ChatON. Utility api having a method to know, Is ChatON is install or not.
The Utility API Class provides typical tools that are useful for application development by using Client APIs.
UtilityAPI.isChatONInstalled(Context context)
Utility api also provide the method by which you can get the download link of ChatON application.
UtilityAPI.openChatONDownloadPage(Context context)

Change in twitter login

As we know, there have been changes in access to the twitter API referring to callbacks URLs.
So far, I have been using the identification callback with firebase, as I indicated here:
This has been working perfectly so far.
I read in the documentation that now you have to indicate the callback, according to android or iOS in the following way:
twitterkit- : // if using Twitter Kit for iOS or
twittersdk: // if using Twitter Kit for Android.
My application is only developed for android.
I have tried all the possible variants, but I always get the following error:
The client application failed validation: Not a valid callback URL format.
The tested options have been:
twittersdk://pfa89MGYola62VIln ........ (MY_CONSUMER_KEY)
twittersdk://MY_APP-android.firebaseapp.com/__/auth/handler
twittersdk://https://MY_APP-android.firebaseapp.com/__/auth/handler
I have activated and deactivated the check "enable callback locking" ...
I've tried everything, I'm a little desperate
For another test, I tried to register the URL callback as if it were the iOS platform
twitterkit-MY_CONSUMER_KEY://
and it was accepted on the first attempt.
I do not mind losing the relationship with firebase, the truth is that I was not using it, but I have a serious problem if I can not connect with twitter again.
I appreciate any help.
I found the solution, I put it here in case it can be of help to someone.
The truth is that it is not well specified in the documentation, you have to take two steps.
First: activate the "enable callback locking" checkbox
Second: indicate the android sdk for twitter, WITHOUT CONSUMER KEY, unlike iOS users.
It would be like this:
I hope it helps

Bluemix android app .. no applicationId was specified exception

I want to run an android app using bluemix. I followed these steps:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/mo-android-mobiledata-app/index.html#N10131
But I'm facing an exception saying that the Application ID is not found:
Exception: 07-21 13:03:04.017: E/AndroidRuntime(1776):
java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to create application
com.ibm.bluelist.BlueListApplication:
com.ibm.mobile.services.core.internal.IBMBluemixException:
IBMBLUEMIX-0042E: Initialization failed because
I have used my own Application ID, secret and route but I'm still getting this error. Can any one please help on this?
Based on the Message ID, I think this is the full error message.
"Initialization failed because no applicationId was specified"
#whitfiea is correct. You need to make sure the AppID is correctly specified for the Mobile Cloud application you are trying to reach (as well as check the other values, the appSecret and the appRoute).
The appRoute should be something like "BlueList.mybulemix.net"
I would also suggested downloading a new set of IBM Client SDK for Android JARs for your project. I would also recommend downloading a new copy of the BlueList sample from JazzHub, as corrections have been made to the application.
One final suggestion, create a new Mobile Cloud Application Backend, just to make sure you are at the current code levels for the client-side and the cloud side.
1.Please try applicationRoute in bluelist.properties file without any prefix like http.
Make sure your application is of type Mobile Cloud under boilerplates.
Verify the below step given in article.
Your Android app will need basic network capability and permissions, so we've included the following permissions in the manifest file. Open up the AndroidManifest.xml file to take a look.
Thanks.

What is the APPKEY in Truecaller API?

I need to verify the spam score of mobile numbers using Truecaller API .I found documentation here . In the API URL , I need to send a APPKEY , But how to get that ? there is no registration page for Truecaller API .
https://api.truecaller.com/v1.0/search.json?userKey=APPKEY&phone=NUMBER
Any help will be appreciated...
You should Read this Document for Name Search API
it Says that....
The one thing to keep in mind is that all requests to our API require
authentication. For that, you will need to use a User Key (userKey)
along with your requests. These access details basically associate,
your server, script or program with a specific application. All
requests to the API must be made over SSL (https:// not http://).
It means you have registered Truecaller developer account then Do Login and get your Access Key(USER KEY) and pass it everytime you request to access API..
But I Think Truecaller API is not accessible for public users...
Read This Article for More Details : http://www.3scale.net/2013/05/truecaller-api-search-among-over-600-million-phone-numbers-worldwide/
Why don't you try this?
callerpy
Here is the explanation from the developer:
Truecaller Name Retriever.
Since my request for the API was rejected, I commenced using python parsing libraries.
Callerpy emulates the process one would encounter if using a web-browser.
I tried it, and it works like a charm from the command line.

Authorize net gateway process in android failed

I am working on payment process in my application. I am following the authorize.net sample example
as per the steps I imported library and the code but when I am testing in test mode with account created I am getting error response. I tested it in emulator. In the guide they provide for help there is no notes for this error message about what is the real solution.
Error Code: 87
Error message: Transactions of this market type is not processed on this system.
Can anybody suggest on this ?
This error indicates that the account that you are using was created for Card Present (retail) transactions, but you are trying to integrate to the Card Not Present (e-commerce) APIs or vice versa. Simply create and use a new sandbox account with the correct type.
You can read more about it here.

Moodle Function API doc over REST

I am trying to develop a Moodle Android app. I am using MoodleREST source code for my reference.Is there any other documentation on Moodle site which documents moodle core webservice functions with their required params.
I have found list of functions here http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Web_services_Roadmap but could not get proper documentation on how to call these functions with required params from mobile client using REST.
I am new to moodle and still learning it, so my question can be a little naive so please bear with it :)
This could be helpful http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Creating_a_web_service_client
And if you have some administrator access to Moodle, go to
yourmoodle/admin/webservice/documentation.php , or
Administration > Plugins > Web services > API Documentation.
There is API with documentation. (Dont know if there is better way though :/)
D.
AIUI you need admin to access the most comprehensive web service API, as described by #Dolfa. You'll need these docs and/or the source if you're developing against their REST API. The API docs are generated from the source, presumably so they accurately reflect the API in the installed version.
You could:
Browse the code on github
Clone the version you intend to program against so you can browse the code locally
Install it and give yourself admin so you can browse the API docs.
If you don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a local Moodle instance, you may be able to figure out a way to run the php that generates the docs.
Once you have a rough idea of an API call, you can often find out the details by looking at responses to command-line requests e.g.
curl 'https://your.domain/webservice/rest/server.phpmoodlewsrestformat=json' --data 'wsfunction=core_enrol_get_users_courses&wstoken=[your_ws_token]' --compressed | python -m "json.tool"
gives the response
{
"debuginfo": "Missing required key in single structure: userid",
"errorcode": "invalidparameter",
"exception": "invalid_parameter_exception",
"message": "Invalid parameter value detected"
}
indicating that the function requires a userid=[userid] argument.
