I have a webpage in ASP.NET and now I am creating an Android application using Xamarin through which user can access this webpage. I am using WebView.
Problem I am facing is that the content of webpage is not fitting in WebView, probably it seems a duplicate question but I did not got a proper answer in previous posts.
My layout code is :

You don´t need any library to use Vimeo player in Iframe.

My app default language is Spanish (es). I have introduced a webview in XML. Prior to this change, the language is Spanish. After adding the webview, it's automatically showing English. How can I fix this issue or problem?

After a lot of testing and following the advices from the other answers, I've finally fixed the issue.
Issues with WebView:
WebView have to be loaded dynamically in the activity. Loading from XML file via Activity#setContentView() won't work for the first time and localisation of the entire activity will break. However, subsequent launches or Activity#recreate() will work as expected.
Even if WebView is loaded dynamically, it won't work for the first time. Again, subsequent launches or Activity#recreate() will work properly.
Considering the issues above, the solution involves loading WebView dynamically and then, the immediate recreation of the activity.

I'd like to load a website in webview with UTF-8, because I'm having accentuation problems, so I'm trying:
myWebView.loadDataWithBaseURL("http://www.planalto.gov.br/ccivil_03/constituicao/constituicaocompilado.htm", "", "text/html", "UTF-8", null);
but the result is a blank screen.
If I use loadURL("site") it loads, but I have accentuation problems. any ideas?

You will need to use loadUrl to load the link.
loadDataWithBaseUrl is not meant to load the given baseUrl into the WebView. It is meant to load the data that you pass as data into the WebView (documentation). Say you want to have "Hello World!" written in your WebView:
webview.loadDataWithBaseURL(url, "<html><body>Hello World.</body></html>", null, "UTF-8", null)
Regarding the encoding: when using loadUrl you should not need to set UTF-8 explicitly because it is the default. Using ISO-8859-1 worked for the specific page you want to load:
webSettings.defaultTextEncodingName = "ISO-8859-1"

And as you can see on right side success show scrollbar when scrolling.
This work on Android 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0. OK.
But on Android 8.0 (Emulator) when scrolling to item "Test many posts 7/15" (about half screen) scrollbar is hide. I'm scrolling to bottom of screen but scrollbar not show.

I'm trying to build an android app, which just consists of a webview. I took the example from android dev site and modified it. But as simple as it looks, every call to findViewById results in a null pointer.

You need to set the content of your layout to the activity before calling findViewById. findViewById looks for a view with the id provided in the current layout inflated.
Just in case the accepted answer is not working. Since i have two different layouts for phone and tablet but only one have WebView which cause findViewById() get null.
