Performance Issue while loading all images from android device - android

I have seen other SO questions and already tried their solution's but didn't help so i am myself asking
I am facing a problem while loading all images from device in a 'GridView', I am using 'MediaStore' to fetch images and i am quite successfull in that and also i have divided all the images folder wise
My phone is having 1 GB ram so i am able load images without difficulties,
But the problem i am facing is that when i use it another device with less then my phone's ram it takes more time to load the images and sometimes it just don't load any image i have already tried using 'AsyncTask' but its not helping.

As there are many images you are loading you have to implement lazy loading in-order to increase app's performance for other low memory devices.

android from app select multiple photos, but not gallery images

From the many previous posts I can now have my app launch the Intent which will allow the users to select multiple images.
But the Intent presents both Gallery Images and Photos when I want Photos only.
The Gallery Images are of no use and merely confuse the user.
So my question is how to limit the images presented to the user for selection to Only the Photos and Not the Gallery.

The checked Gridview position changes on scrolling

I have already tried the suggestions which are there on this site and they dont work for me. I will try to be very precise. I have a Custom gallery which displays images in gridview. The user can select multiple images from the gridview. Once the Gridview position is clicked the "Tick" icon is displayed on that position to notify user that the image has been selected. The problem is when i select an image and scroll the "Ticked" icon which was on the selected image appears on some other image.Here is the code.

Check all items in a custom gridview programmatically

I use the sample code in Multi-choice GridView to create a custom gridview include checkbox and image control.
I hope to click a button to check all items in the custom gridview, how can I do ? Thanks!

you know the images which you are going to show in your grid view . so initially get design the custom layout with four images like folder with four image views. then load your particular folder images thumbnails.

don't save the image , Just save image path on the database.
The easiest ways :
1-don't save the image , Just save image path on the database as string value .
2-convert the image to bitmap and save it in the database.
I prefer the first solution .
