Amazon processes die, then App Crashes - android

My application runs fine on any Google device. But when I try to run on a Kindle fire, it crashes. Right before the crash happens, Activity Monitor Logs show that around 15-20 processes that start with com.amazon die and are scheduled to restart. Then My app (which is running in the foreground) crashes and attempts to restart:

There is no description of the crash itself, so I'm not sure how to fix. Does anyone have any ideas?

It may be an ANR.
I have a suite of about 400 unit tests that run fine on various other devices (including the Amazon Phone Fire) but fail on the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7".
When this "crash" happens there is no java stack trace and no c stack trace. The crash never happens on the same test. And, obviously, running those unit tests by themselves never causes an issue.
When the process finally exits, there isn't much fanfare beyond the normal unit test exist. E.g. there is a WIN DEATH log line, however even when the unit tests run successfully to completion it still announces WIN DEATH.
I have noticed something interesting though. When I monitor logcat using the following command:

When I sit there and watch the output, the pace of errors increases until my test app crashes.
According to some docs I've found, lack of response to a touch event in 5 sec, or a BroadcastReceiver running for 10 sec will cause an ANR in normal android. However, I don't know what amazon has done to it.
I did another test that passes a runnable to $getInstrumentation().runOnMainSync()$ which busy waits in an empty while loop for 120 seconds. That alone didn't cause the app to be killed, until I touched the back button. Then I see the same exact crash: window death, no stack trace, no c stack trace.
Also, in both the original crash and the deliberate ANR, I see a line mentioning ActivityRecord having difficulty (not always exactly this line):

I tried making the junit thread sleep for 1500ms after each thread, thinking that I was starving some background system of the UI thread (my unit tests cause 6,000 views to be created in a short amount of time), but that has not helped, and it has not noticeably delayed the crash either.

SMS BroadcastReceiver not triggered when phone hasn't been used for a while?

I have an app that registers a BroadcastReceiver in the manifest

It has always been working perfectly fine when I'm testing it, but today I tried sending an SMS to a phone with the app installed which I hadn't touched for a few hours. The app has been working fine on this phone before while testing, but I've always tested it with the display on or within a few minutes after locking the screen.
It seems that my BroadcastReceiver wasn't triggered today when I hadn't used the phone for a few hours. The SMS was received and triggered the stock Messaging app, but my BroadcastReceiver was not triggered (or at least, the foreground service I'm starting from onReceive() wasn't started).
The phone in question is a Motorola Moto G running Android 4.4.4.

When I connect the phone via USB minutes after it was supposed to have triggered the BroadcastReceiver, I see only two logs related to my app:

MVVMCross 3.5.1 and xamarin android does not work

I have a question: is there somebody that use MVVMCross 3.5.1 with Api level android 21 and xamarin studio 5.9.3? I have a problem: I reference mvvmcross in an android app. I have a splashscreen and a firstview. When I tried to start with emulator I don't have any problem with level 15 emulator but when I tried it with the last version (Api 21) the app after splashscreen is closed without any error (not open the firstview).
Is there a solution?

android not honoring trigger.io's tabs.openWithOptions for server side redirect

I've got some basic trigger.io code to open a modal dialog for oauth2 authentication:

When the user isn't authenticated, the server redirects to http://10.0.0.70/users to present a login form.
Running the code in an iOS6 simulator yields the correct result:
open modal dialog
server redirects to login form, presented within the dialog
user can authenticate
server redirects to oauth_redirect_uri which trigger catches and closes the dialog
When I run in an android simulator, the initial page is loaded, but then the app crashes.
I see the /oauth2/authorize url being processed on the server
all I see in the debug dialog is "subView load http://10.0.0.70:3000/users"

Android - foreground Activity being killed when background system service scheduling restart by ActivityManager

I have a viewer application, implement with ImageView and ViewPager from Android Compatibility Package. For each page, I render some Bitmap and put them into ViewPager. It works fine, but sometimes the application just crashed without exception nor register dump. I noticed that, normally, the application didn't crash, just log many GC messages. But when system ActivityManager start to schedule restart some background system Service, the application get a big chance to crash when switching between pages.
I searched some questions, but they are about Service being killed because of low memory, restart failed because of state inconsistency, or something. But in my case, It's foreground Activity being killed, just because some system Services were scheduled restart. How could a foreground Activity being killed "by background Service"?
Although in log, the Services seem to restart failed because of low memory, but my Activity just being killed without OutOfMemoryError. I can't figure out what is the real problem caused my application being killed...
PS. If I don't switch between pages, the application lives, but system is scheduling restart Services repeatedly. In this situation, the application is easy to crash when switching between pages.
PS2. device is: ASUS Transformer TF101, Android 3.2, Kernel version: 2.6.36.3-00003-g9baf8f7

Then the system begins to scheduling restart, success some, failed some, repeatedly. Btw, com.google.android.music/.dl.DownloadManager$DownloadManagerService and com.google.android.apps.maps/com.google.android.location.internal.server.NetworkLocationService always failed to restart.

Switching some more pages, finally, the application crashed, as the top most log.

Process has died

In my app i am downloading images from the web. Sometimes i am getting the following error in stack trace and then app crashed. What is meaning of the "process has died"? How to handle this?

By the stack trace I underatand that your app is resumed while its already running. Wich causes your process to be killed and start again.
Check to see if you are downloading the image on the main thread. If u do that might be the problem.

The way you handle this through handlers and background service and different threads.
Make sure that you dont do any network operations in UI thread
