Installing Titanium Studio on Windows 7 64bit machine - android

Can anybody please share any step by step guide to install and configure Titanium Studio (which version should I use ?) on a Windows 7 64 bit machine for Android development ?
I am trying the latest version but it seems not working. Can't set the andorid sdk path.
I have JDK 1.7 64 bit installed in my machine. I think 32 bit 1.6 is required but it was suppose to be managed by the installer ?

I found a step by step guide with pictures in the documentation. I assume this is what you're looking for? http://docs.appcelerator.com/titanium/3.0/#!/guide/Setting_up_Studio

Check below links :

Steps you need to follow :
Downloading and Installing Titanium Studio
Launching Titanium Studio
Configuring Titanium Studio
Add path of default Android SDK
Creating a project in Titanium Studio.
Hope this helps.

Please use the documentation itself. The documentation specifically says that you need to use 32 bit java v1.6 regardless of your system configuration, you need to manually install 32 bit java, set the environment variables.

Problem occuring when trying to install Android Studio

When I'm trying to install android studio on my 32 bit Windows 10 computer, it says that an error occurred while trying to compute required packages. What should I do?
Solution:
Download the Java SE Developement Kit (Directdownload for 32Bit) and install it.
After that you can access Android Studio on it's site choosing the No .exe installer version:
Extract it and go into the bin folder and execute studio.exe (this is for 32bit).
PS: The studio64.exe is ONLY recommend for 64bit machines.
This will work! I bet you have installed the wrong Android Studio Version. So uninstall your current Android studio and follow the steps above. Cheers.

Titanium appcelerator studio Installation issue

I am facing problem with Installation of Titanium Studio.
I have set up all the required Environment Variable's
This is my JAVA_HOME variable C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_25;
This is mt Path Variable C:\Development\android-sdk-windows;C:\Development\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools;C:\Development\android-sdk-windows\tools;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_25;C:\Program Files (x86)\WinAnt\bin;D:\Android SDK\android-sdk_r16-windows\android-sdk-windows\tools;C:\Development\phonegap-2.9.0\lib\android;
I have installed jdk1.7.0_25 and JRE 7.

I have followed same but not finding solution, Please help me.
Thanks in advance.
Always have a good look at titanium compatibility matrix.Jdk 1.7 is not compatible until now only 1.6 is suitable for android
http://docs.appcelerator.com/titanium/3.0/#!/guide/Titanium_Compatibility_Matrix-section-29004837_TitaniumCompatibilityMatrix-JavaDevelopmentKit
Thanks
From Documentation
The 32-bit version of the JDK is required regardless of whether Titanium is running on a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows system.
On Windows, Studio contains its own JRE, meaning you do not need to install the JDK before installing or launching Studio but will need it
to use the Titanium SDK.
Titanium Studio prompts you to install the JDK when installing the Android SDK from the Dashboard on Windows.
Try to install 32 bit java in your system.

Titanium doesn't recognize Android SDK on Windows

Titanium doesn't recognize Android SDK on Windows
My problem is that Titanium Studio doesn't see my installed Android Platforms. I've tried removing and reinstalling everything via Titanium Studio but that won't make any difference.
Here's a screenshot of the SDK Manager: http://imgur.com/5F5oF
Titanium Studio Screenshot: http://imgur.com/w7j7n
Titanium Studio Details:
Titanium Studio, build: 1.0.8.201201262211
Build: jenkins-titanium-rcp-master-136 (origin/master)
Date: 26 January 2012, 22:14:21
OS Information:
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
Problem in Titanium Studio:
One or more pieces are missing from the Android SDK.
It may be that the Android SDK is already installed
and Titanium Studio cannot locate the directory, or
it may be that some additional components need to be installed.
Items required:
•An Android SDK is missing. Titanium requires Android platforms 2.1.* and 2.2.*
We just spent a couple days wrestling with this problem. The issue is with the latest version of the mobile sdk that you've installed. Titanium Studio actually uses the following script to validate the Android SDK path in the configuration window:
MAC path looks like this:
/Library/Application Support/Titanium/mobilesdk/osx/sdk_version_number_here/android/avd.py
Based on your post, your path is probably something like:
C:\Users\Dean\AppData\Roaming\Titanium\mobilesdk\win32\sdk_version_number_here\android\avd.py
If you browse to the folder and look for that script, it's probably missing. We just deleted that version of the sdk (for us it was 2.0.1.GA2). Then went to Help -> Check for Updates to reinstall the latest version.
Can you try installing all the api levels. SDK level 10-15.
Hopefully that would help. I am also running Titanium on the same version of windows, and it works fine.
This looks crazy, but you need to install sdk 7 and 8, with the google APIs. I think that they have code nested to these SDK. Check twice that you accept the licence with Google API.
Here is the complete guide of installing Titanium with Android.
I broke my head for 2 days on the very same problem, and the solution is quite simple:
Titanium 3.2 and above does not work with android sdk in Windows.
Downgrade to 3.1.3 and everything will be just fine

getting Mac OS X 10.5 sdk

I'm trying to get android source code on Mac.
I've followed the guidelines on android webpage,
but when I try
make -j4
it says MacOSX 10.5 SDK is not found at the directory.
I've done some search on it, but couldn't really find much info.
How could I install it at the specified directory?
Please help me out.
Thank you.
So far it seems that the Android community hasn't updated the build process to work with any of the newer SDKs, so for now, you would need to get the 10.5 SDK by using an OS install disk (Snow Leopard or Leopard) and extracting the SDK from the Xcode installer that was included on the disk. see here for more: How to add base SDK for 10.5 in xCode 4

buiding android sdk

how to build sdk from source code
Have a look there.
To build the Android source files, you will need to use Linux or Mac OS. Building under Windows is not currently supported.
The command for building the sdk is make sdk.
The steps to build the SDK are described in http://tools.android.com/build including the steps to build the Windows SDK (which is done under Linux.)
