How to create EditText background %100 transparent with bottom line

I need to create Edittext drawable background with %100 percent transparent and has only colored bottom line 2dp. Is there any way to make this component.
The bellow code with constant background. I need transparent background.

Custom shape in android using xml

I am trying to draw a custom shape which I can use as a background for my layout. But I am not able to do so. Is it possible to draw a shape as below using xml in android. I am not getting how to cut the semicircle shape from the vertical centres of rectangle.

In your case it might be worth to create a resizable bitmap (9-Patch drawable). Follow this guide.

It is better to use 9-Patch images. If you can create an image like above you can use https://romannurik.github.io/AndroidAssetStudio/nine-patches.html to create 9-patch image(define expandable area).

Setting a Buttons background programmatically from drawable folder incorrectly makes button background black

I am creating buttons dyanmically for a gridview, however I want to apply a drawable background presented below. However the background is black, but on pressed appears correctly.
I have a button created called roundedge_button_dark.xml:

How to make bottom border in drawable shape XML selector?

I'm trying to create a drawable shape with different states for my button. So I wrote this:
