Sony Camera Remote API, NEX-5 Model preview not updating - android

I am using the default sample App for Android for Sony Camera Remote API. It is working fine but for Nex-5T Model, the preview is not showing (updating) properly. The Same App is working fine for DSC-QX10 model without any issue.
The Sony Play Memories app is working fine for both the Camera models.
Is there anything we need to do for Nex-5 model.

I would check the Liveview size and external Wi-Fi interference issues to troubleshoot the issues you are reporting with NEX-5T. Also please check if you have the latest versions of camera firmware and 'Smart Remote Control' app.

Is the Sony Android camera API supported for all Android versions?

I'm wondering if the Sony Camera API has parts that are only supported by certain versions of Android.
I have the latest firmware (1.04) on my a6500 and running Android 7 on LineageOS (successor of CyanogenMod) for the Samsung S5 (KLTE version). This is what I get in my Play Memories app:
The shutter button works and images download to the phone. But that's it.
Additionally, when I use another app called DSLRDashboard, the settings show up and can be changed on the app, but they don't get changed or applied on the camera, and this is in full manual mode on the camera. Other modes don't work either.
What could be causing this? What would need to be added into a 3rd party ROM like LineageOS to get this working?
Really hoping that the official Sony developers that roam this site will be able to chime in.
So, a bit of a snafu on my part.
It's not enough to update just the firmware on the Sony camera. The Remote Control app installed in the camera must also be updated as well, which means hooking the camera up to WiFi and downloading the updates for that app. With that done, all the settings appear in the phone app and can the changed.

Endoscope app USB DEVICE DETACHED when open LED light?

I've developed an Android App Supports Endoscope using library UVCCamera.
Everything working properly but when using the camera with LED Light, a moment later the camera will disconnect and show the message "USB DEVICE DETACHED". This error also cannot find and not show in log console.
When I tested the app with similar apps in the Google Play (CameraFi, UsbWebCamera), I also found the same problem.
Any suggestion about this?

Augmented reality through the use of an external camera. Android Development

So I have been working in a project of my own and I encountered the biggest road block when I realized that it was apparently very difficult to use in SDK such as Vuforia, Metaio, Wikitube, DroidAr and NyArtToolKit a external camera communicating through Wi-Fi to a android device.
Now, I have two android devices smoothly connected through wi-fi. I can see the camera view from one device in the other device. I would like to use that view in the receiving android device in order to "create" the augmented reality experience. Because there is not a widely used of such a technique, those big AR SDK have not worked for me. I cannot pay for them either.
Do anyone know what can I do or if you can point me to a tutorial that deals with this issue? I obtained the bitmap from the server device and send everything through IP/UDP packages to the other devices.
Any help?
Thanks.

Not able to connect Sony NEX 5T to iPhone via Sony Camera API

I am developing an iPhone and an Android app which will connect to the Sony Camera NEX 5T via the Sony Camera API and receive an image being sent from the camera. I downloaded the Sony tutorial from https://developer.sony.com/2013/11/29/how-to-develop-an-app-using-the-camera-remote-api-2/ and tried using it.
I am not able to connect to the camera via the demo app as well as it doesnt locate my camera at all.
But if i use, play memories app by Sony, it locates and sends the image in a fraction on a second. I even tried to manually reach the camera via 10.0.0.1/sony/camera but it doesnt connect.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. A working demo from anyone would be highly helpful.
Thanks in Advance
I can suggest a few things to check your setup.
1) Update to latest firmware on the camera (esupport.sony.com)
2) Smart Remote Control app in the NEX-5T camera (latest version is installed?)
https://www.playmemoriescameraapps.com/portal/usbdetail.php?eid=IS9104-NPIA09014_00-F00002
3) Latest version of iOS/Android sample applications from Camera Remote API SDK.
4) Start Smart Remote Control app in NEX-5T.

Adobe AIR 3.6 app using video camera crashes on Google Nexus 7 Android 4.2.2

I am developing an AIR app for mobile devices which needs to access the video camera. So far it works great on iOS but on my Google Nexus 7 device the app crashes shortly after activating the video camera. I have set up the correct permissions and can access the 'front' camera on the device. Sometimes i see a quick flash of the video image which i add to the stage but then the app crashes and returns to the google nexus screen.
I am using -
Adobe AIR 3.6.0.6090 SDK
AS3 (obviously)
Google Nexus 7 running android 4.2.2
Has anyone noticed this behaviour? Is there anything I can change or is this an android / air bug?
cheers
I think that this was only happening because I was remotely debugging the app. When I ran the app without the remote debugger it worked fine. video loaded and showed ok. Left this question here incase it saves anyone some time working out a similar problem :-)
