I am rebuilding an Android app for which I've the source code from the OEM. Normally, the app can be using the make command in command line and that works. The app's UI, manifest etc. is done in Eclipse. But Eclipse can't compile the app, and gives error on the line shown below and does't recognize the item USER_CURRENT.
sendBroadcastAsUser(exampleIntent, new UserHandle(UserHandle.USER_CURRENT));
Does anyone know how can I build and run the app from Eclipse?
Btw, I build my own system image for the platform using Android 4.4.2.
Thanks.
I used
android.os.Process.myUserHandle()
to get UserHandle instance.

I am an intermediate Android Apps developer who uses java. Recently I tried to switch to Flutter and default app works fine debug on my cell phone through cable.
I just happened to look at Android Manifest and there are multiple error showing:
But to my surprise it shows no error on device.
I have set Flutter, dart and git path already. It would be nice if someone can help with theses errors.
This is normal since you are operating on a Flutter project, and not an Android one.
Try to Open the project from your-app-folder/android.
Something happend today with my Android studio program, I can no longer run any applications through it.
I've tried restalling it and everything, but i cannot get an android installation in there. As you can see next to the build icon, it's empty. Any help is greatly appreciated.
and yes, i've set ANDROID_HOME

The app stucks in waiting for device for debugging. but it works fine if i run the app in release mode..

How do i clean my project? i've already tried this:
gradlew clean
gradlew compile
Please somebody help!!
There's none of your source code attached so i can't tell for sure but it could be because you're trying to write data to the root of internal storage. If that's the case you just need to change where you're writing your data.
Source : Android Error - Open Failed ENOENT
I wouldn't know for sure though since i can't see your code.
I have created one android application.
i have to run the app which means it is worked well on android emulator and device.
Afterthat i have to change some layout height and weight(some design changes). Now i have to run these updated apk file which means the old layout design only work on android emulator...why the old apk design is working on android emulator...i wish to work the new apk file on android emulator...
how can i resolve these error ??? please help me ...
i have done a simple thing that solve my problem whenever i get this kind of chaos !
1. Open Your emulator
2. Goto Setting>manage app or apps(ver 4.1)>your app
3. now uninstall your app from the emulator.
4. clean your project and then make your changes
5. run the fresh app again
6. BOOOM your app is now running
if you still got problems then discuss it in comments :)
Do the following:-
Make sure there is no error in any of the XML in the project.
Clean & Build your project again.
Run the application on your emulator(new apk will be now generated in the bin folder).
If the above don't work, try to clear the user data when starting a new emulator instance, try running your updated application then.
I am having this problem while running my application in emulator. When I run application it shows in console this error:
[ERROR]Error reading data file
and then nothing happens.Don't know what can be the issue, tried it many ways deleting all virtual AVDs and cleaning up the project again and again but not working anyway any solution for that? I am using 2.1.1 titanium SDK and android V8 (2.2).
sometime this also show this error in console:
[ERROR]No building apps, No launcher activity.
Did the application run before?
Have you tried a clean build or deleting the build directory to perform a full rebuild? You can also have a look into the logcat provided by DDMS to search helpful information.
