Android Fragment Unable to Extends ListFragment Class. [App Not Running] - android

I am building an Android App that will use 3 Fragment, I have three Classes, MainActivity, SectionPagerAdapter and Section1Fragment Class, There is No error Warning in the Code but the App is not Running. Below are the Code, Please help.
MAINACTIVITY CLASS
import android.app.ActionBar;
import android.app.FragmentTransaction;
import android.os.Bundle;
import java.util.Locale;
import android.support.v4.app.Fragment;
import android.support.v4.app.FragmentActivity;
import android.support.v4.app.FragmentManager;
import android.support.v4.app.FragmentPagerAdapter;
import android.support.v4.view.ViewPager;
import android.view.Menu;
import android.view.MenuItem;
public class MainActivity extends FragmentActivity implements ActionBar.TabListener {
/**
* The {#link android.support.v4.view.PagerAdapter} that will provide
* fragments for each of the sections. We use a {#link FragmentPagerAdapter}
* derivative, which will keep every loaded fragment in memory. If this
* becomes too memory intensive, it may be best to switch to a
* {#link android.support.v13.app.FragmentStatePagerAdapter}.
*/
SectionsPagerAdapter mSectionsPagerAdapter;
/**
* The {#link ViewPager} that will host the section contents.
*/
ViewPager mViewPager;
#Override

mSectionsPagerAdapter = new SectionsPagerAdapter( this,getSupportFragmentManager());
// Set up the ViewPager with the sections adapter.
mViewPager = (ViewPager) findViewById(R.id.pager);
mViewPager.setAdapter(mSectionsPagerAdapter);
// When swiping between different sections, select the corresponding
// tab. We can also use ActionBar.Tab#select() to do this if we have
// a reference to the Tab.
mViewPager

**SECTIONPAGERADAPTER CLASS**

import android.os.Bundle;
import android.support.v4.app.Fragment;

// getItem is called to instantiate the fragment for the given page.
// Return a PlaceholderFragment (defined as a static inner class

return context1.getString(R.string.title_section1).toUpperCase(l);
case 1:
return context1.getString(R.string.title_section2).toUpperCase(l);
case 2:
return context1.getString(R.string.title_section3).toUpperCase(l);
}
return null;
}
}
SECTION1FRAGMENT CLASS
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.support.v4.app.ListFragment;
import android.view.LayoutInflater;
import android.view.View;
import android.view.ViewGroup;
public class Section1Fragment extends ListFragment {
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_main, container,
false);
return rootView;
}
}

The problem is that your Section1Fragment extends ListFragment but you use a RelativeLayout instead of a ListView. If you do public class Section1Fragment extends Fragment instead
you should be good to go.

Here is the Xml Files?

how to create 2 swipe tabs in fragment?

Hi guys, I have a very big problem and I really don't know where I were wrong.
my app contains Navigation Drawer menu and i need to create swipe tabs in fragments_accounts.xml
Navigation Drawer Menu contains "Accounts" when it's clicked fragments_accounts.xml will show and i wanna create 2 swipe tabs in it.
I changed import android.support.v4.app.Fragment; to import android.app.Fragment; in both of the AccountsFtagmets.java and MainActivity.java
This error will show:
Error:(88, 28) error: incompatible types: AccountsFragment cannot be
converted to Fragment
How can i rescue from this error??
it's killing me!!!

Your AccountsFragment needs to extend Fragment not FragmentActivity.

Android - Tabs with zone in common

first, sorry for my english.
I need to do a actionbar with tabs, and one zone in common.
Like a bottonbar.
That is a picture to example.

Regards
For your question and the requirement, the only thing I did was:
1) Set the height of the View Pager
2) Add other views below the View Pager and set the height and width as wrap_content and match_parent for width.
Here's the layout for it:
<android.support.v4.view.ViewPager
android:id="#+id/pager"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="400dp"
android:paddingTop="10dp"/>
<View
android:id="#+id/mylistview"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="3dp"
android:background="#fff" >
</View>
<TextView
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text = "fIXED cONTENT"
android:textSize = "30sp"
android:textColor = "#fff">
</TextView>
</LinearLayout>
This is how the view looks like now:
Image http://imageshack.com/a/img834/9374/w36p.png
Image http://imageshack.com/a/img843/9553/5n8y.png
Let me know if you need the implementation of it.
Good Luck..:)

You probably want to alter your SectionsPagerAdapter to return a different Fragment which contains a WebView depending on the position passed in getItem.

problems with the tabs and the fragment

I created an application "fixed tabs + swipe" with Eclipse, I can not understand how I can create a Fragment for each tab. I know it's a stupid question but I just can not understand. Thanks to all who respond.
The code is as follows

The Fragments have to be created in your implementation of the FragmentPagerAdapter (SectionsPagerAdapter), in the method getItem(). See example :
#Override
public Fragment getItem(int position) {
switch (position) {
case 0:
return new MyFragment0();
case 1:
return new MyFragment1();
case 2:
return new MyFragment2();
}
return null;
}
The getCount method should return the number of fragments you want to be available. Then, the FragmentActivity will call getItem when a fragment is needed.

Error on new/Fresh eclipse application?

Nothing fancy or anything, cant seem to find an answer on Go0gle, so what does this error mean? I'm very new to Eclipse and android programming, I have just created a new project, haven't changed a thing in any file, I just clicked debug to see if everything is in order and this is the error I got:
Description Resource Path Location Type
The method onTabReselected(ActionBar.Tab, FragmentTransaction) of type MainActivity must override a superclass method MainActivity.java /WFApp/src/com/example/wfapp line 93 Java Problem
I have no idea what this means. I'm using eclipse/android/cordova/html5/javascript/css3.
But like I said, I haven't started coding yet. Any links or advice will be appreciated.

It's a problem with Java compiler. Compiler compliance level 1.5 doesn't allow #Override annotation for classes implementing interface methods. In Eclipse, go to project properties, select Java compiler and change compiler compliance level to 1.6 or 1.7.
