How to show image in ViewPager in Android? - android

I have an images in my GridView. Now I want to show the image in ViewPager in next Activity.I am trying to set a bitmap to that imageView (view) in another class.But after run the app image is not show in ViewPager.Thanks to appreciate.
Hare is code

System.out.println("mThumbIds = " + mThumbIds);
int position = i.getIntExtra("id", 0);

If you want to load image from a path (or URL) to be displayed in an ImageView, one of the fastest and easiest way is to use Picasso. The code is pretty short:
Picasso.with(getActivity())
.load(path)
.resize(width, height)
.centerCrop()
.into(imageView);

try with below code:
Remove below line of code:
BitmapFactory.Options options = new BitmapFactory.Options();
options.inPreferredConfig = Bitmap.Config.ARGB_8888;
options.inSampleSize = 8;
bitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeFile(_imagePaths.get(position), options);
imgDisplay.setImageBitmap(bitmap);
Add below lines:
aQuery.image(imgDisplay).id(_imagePaths.get(position),true,true);

Android swipe card with pinch to zoom imageview using SwipeFlingAdapterView library

I am implementing swipe card with pinch to zoom functionality using this library and when I use only image view then it working fine means swipe work properly but I want swipe functionality like library as well as pinch to zoom so I added TouchImageView class in which only pinch to zoom work but swipe functionality is not working. So could you please help me to solve this problem or suggest me any alternative library in which swipe card and pinch to zoom is possible.
Below is my activity
public class MainActivity extends AppCompatActivity{
private SwipeFlingAdapterView flingContainer;

public SwipViewAdapter swipViewAdapter;
private SwipModel swipModel;
private Uri uri;

getId();
setSwipeCard();
}

flingContainer = (SwipeFlingAdapterView) findViewById(R.id.frame);
}

al = new ArrayList<>();
swipModel.setCardImageDrawable(uri);
al.add(swipModel);
swipViewAdapter = new SwipViewAdapter(getApplicationContext(), al);
flingContainer.setAdapter(swipViewAdapter);
flingContainer.setFlingListener(new SwipeFlingAdapterView.onFlingListener() {
#Override
public void removeFirstObjectInAdapter() {
// this is the simplest way to delete an object from the Adapter (/AdapterView)
Log.d("LIST", "removed object!");
// al.remove(0);
// swipViewAdapter.notifyDataSetChanged();
}
#Override
public void onLeftCardExit(Object dataObject) {
//Do something on the left!
//You also have access to the original object.
//If you want to use it just cast it (String) dataObject
// makeToast(MainActivity.this, "Left!");
}
#Override

// makeToast(MainActivity.this, "Right!");
}
#Override

Return false in the OnTouchListener.onTouch() in the TouchImageView class when only one pointer is down like so:
#Override
public boolean onTouch(View v, MotionEvent event) {
// Touch logic here
return event.getPointerCount() > 1;
}
This way pinch-to-zoom will only consume the touch event when two pointers are present (necessary to perform a pinch with).
Update:
Extend the SwipeFlingAdapterView class and override the onInterceptTouchEvent() method like it's done here: Using onInterceptTouchEvent
Then you could intercept the touch event directed to the image view like this:
public void onInterceptTouchEvent(MotionEvent event) {
if(event.getPointerCount() == 1) {
onTouchEvent(event);
}
return false;
}
More documentation about touch intercepts here: https://developer.android.com/training/gestures/viewgroup.html
Hope it helps!

When you zoomed you only called setImageMatrix(matrix). This set the matrix to the image which was then applied. The issue here is it won't apply it to the extra path you created. What you need to do is apply the matrix to the canvas paint the various elements. You do not apply the matrix to the path ever so they desync. Your drawableview onDraw() routine would be perfect for that code. You can also just draw the bitmap yourself too and get rid of the image view. After all what you're doing is more complex than just a view with some image hooks.

How to reset imageview to original position in view pager?

I am using view pager where i am getting images from services. Problem is when i zoom image and swipe next image and then go to previous image, that previous image is still in zoom view. How to reset to original position.
I checked lots in resource including Chrisbanes photoview library. but nothing provided me solution. How to resolve this?
Please provide me a solution for this.
Thanks in advance.

In viewPagerAdapter:
In ViewPagerAdapter class:
LoopViewPager pagerSelector;
final TouchImageView prodImage = (TouchImageView) itemView
.findViewById(R.id.product_image);
pagerSelector.setOnPageChangeListener(new OnPageChangeListener() {
#Override
public void onPageSelected(int position) {
if(pagerSelector!=null){
prodImage.resetZoom(); // while page selection, reset the zoom but this not worked.
}
}
}
#Override
public void onPageScrolled(int arg0, float arg1, int arg2) {
}
#Override
public void onPageScrollStateChanged(int arg0) {
}
});
Found solution:
In the above class ViewPagerAdapter I used this..
SparseArray<TouchImageView> views = new SparseArray<TouchImageView>(); //declare this..
#Override
public void notifyDataSetChanged() {
int key = 0;
for(int i = 0; i < views.size(); i++) {
key = views.keyAt(i);
TouchImageView view = views.get(key);
view.resetZoom(); //in custom imageview method to reset zoom declared here.
}
super.notifyDataSetChanged();
}

Using URL Source instead of SD Card to load images

I am working on a gallery application and I found this tutorial.
http://www.androidhive.info/2013/09/android-fullscreen-image-slider-with-swipe-and-pinch-zoom-gestures/
The projects runs as a gallery application (Display images and swipe, zoom in-out and pinch capabilities)
And as you can see in the project, the images are being loaded from sd card . I have a url to my images and I want to load images from this url instead of using sd card.
All advices could be helpful. Thank you
I edited the question .
For downloading the image from the internet create a class that extends async and takes your ImageView and a url and returns a bitmap:
something like this:
private class LoadImagefromUrl extends AsyncTask< Object, Void, Bitmap > {
ImageView ivPreview = null;
#Override
protected Bitmap doInBackground( Object... params ) {
this.ivPreview = (ImageView) params[0];
String url = (String) params[1];
System.out.println(url);
return loadBitmap( url );
}
#Override
protected void onPostExecute( Bitmap result ) {
super.onPostExecute( result );
ivPreview.setImageBitmap( result );
}
}
public Bitmap loadBitmap( String url ) {
URL newurl = null;
Bitmap bitmap = null;
try {
newurl = new URL( url );
bitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeStream( newurl.openConnection( ).getInputStream( ) );
} catch ( MalformedURLException e ) {
e.printStackTrace( );
} catch ( IOException e ) {
e.printStackTrace( );
}
return bitmap;
}
In your case i believe your touchImageView class extends ImageView so you can replace ImageView with the View Class you are using..
then from your activity that holds the view you can say:
new LoadImagefromUrl( ).execute( imageView, url );
You don't want to hold up the UI while you are downloading
hope that helps..
As for integrating a TouchImageView that allows your pinch zoom functionality take note of this class Your link included:

You can simply create a similar class and either include it in your xml layout or attach in java. Replace my references above to ImageView with the TouchImageView.
for more info on this consult android docs..
http://developer.android.com/training/custom-views/index.html
You can use Picasso library to load remote images into your TouchImageView.
Picasso.with(MyActivity.this).load(urlOfImage).fit().centerInside().error(R.drawable.no_img).into(touchImageView);
You need to following dependency to your build.gradle file to use Picasso Library
compile 'com.squareup.picasso:picasso:2.3.3'
Try this one,hope it works

This is my complete code; I want double tap to be detected.
At last found a working solution:

public CustomImageView(Context context, AttributeSet attrs) {

sharedConstructing(context);
}
public CustomImageView(Context context, AttributeSet attrs, int defStyle) {
super(context, attrs, defStyle);
sharedConstructing(context);
}
private void sharedConstructing(Context context) {
super.setClickable(true);
this.context = context;
mGestureListener=new GestureListener();
Log.e("Adding", "Listener:::");
mGestureDetector = new GestureDetector( context, mGestureListener, null, true );
setOnTouchListener(new OnTouchListener() {
#Override
public boolean onTouch(View v, MotionEvent event) {
mGestureDetector.onTouchEvent(event);
//..my other code logic
invalidate();
return true; // indicate event was handled
}
});
}
public class GestureListener extends GestureDetector.SimpleOnGestureListener {

public boolean onDoubleTap( MotionEvent e ) {
Log.e("onDoubleTap","onDoubleTap");

}
}
}
