</LinearLayout>
What the appropriate way for do this:
Maybe use dynamic fragment ? Maybe use View.removeView ?
Or....
Please help...

This code should remove the scroll view and put the item in it's place (For this to work be sure to add the id's to the view elements on the xml).
View bodyLayout = (View)m_dialog.findViewById(R.id.my_item);
ScrollView scroller = (ScrollView)m_dialog.findViewById(R.id.my_scroll);
ViewGroup topLayout = (ViewGroup)scroller.getParent();
ViewGroup.LayoutParams params = scroller.getLayoutParams();
int index = topLayout.indexOfChild(scroller);
scroller.removeAllViews();
topLayout.removeView(scroller);
topLayout.addView(bodyLayout, index, params);

How to create 'i' number of objects in a layout (by looping)?

I need to create i number of photo_view and give it a special amount every time (loop). number of photo_view in every time will be different. What exactly should I do in the code ?
my xml file :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
xmlns:custom="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:id="#+id/coordinatorLayout"

android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"/>
</LinearLayout>
</HorizontalScrollView>
<ImageView
android:id="#+id/exit_btn"
android:layout_width="25dp"
android:layout_height="25dp"
android:layout_margin="20dp"
android:clickable="true"
android:contentDescription="#string/app_name"
android:src="#drawable/ic_back_ltr" />
</android.support.design.widget.CoordinatorLayout>
Dynamically adding Views to a ViewGroup is what you are looking for. which is done by code not by XML.
In general, there are two ways to add a view dynamically,
either by inflating some layout file in a view then add this view to your parent viewgroup (LinearLayout for ex) by calling the add method on this parent view.
Or by defining a new object of that view and add all params needed to it then add it to the parent viewgroup.
See an example about way 1 here
See an example about way 2 here
in your case you could create a new layout.xml file contains only your custom view com.github.chrisbanes.photoview.PhotoView with all the needed params. then add an id for the parent linearlayout
<LinearLayout
android:"#+id/parentViewGroup"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:orientation="horizontal">
</LinearLayout>
And in your code, loop by the count and add the custom inflated view to parent. like this:
View inflatedView = View.inflate(context, yourViewXML, null);
LinearLayout parentViewGroup = findViewById(R.id.parentViewGroup);
for(int i = 0 ; i<count ; i++){
parentViewGroup.add(inflatedView);
}

How to make the last footer fixed (ListView)

I have a ListView with 2 footer views. The first one is a bunch of TextViews, while the second one is a button. I'm trying to fix the second footer so that it always shows at the bottom of the screen.
I tried the following:
1. alignParentBottom = true
2. layout_gravity="bottom"
3. footerView2.bringToFront()
And combinations of the above. But none of them worked out. How can I achieve this?
UPDATE
I shouldn't have added the View which I always want on the screen (fixed) as footer.
I just added the wannabe-fixed-view with the listView. Did alignParentBottom = true and also view.bringToFront(). It worked out for me.
Separate your ListView and bottom footer. The idea is:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<Button
android:id="#+id/btn_bottom"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"
android:text="Bottom button"/>
<ListView
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:layout_above="#id/btn_bottom"/>
</RelativeLayout>
Create separate xml file which contain all textviews and button you want as footer part.Then bind this xml as a footer of listview. You can binf footer with listview by this method: listview.addFooterView(footerView);
For example:
View footerView = ((LayoutInflater) getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE))
.inflate(R.layout.listviewfooter, null, false);
spDate = (Spinner) headerView.findViewById(R.id.spdate);
llDatepicker = (LinearLayout) headerView.findViewById(R.id.lldatepicker);
rvDatepicker = (RecyclerView) headerView.findViewById(R.id.rvdatepicker);
rvTimepicker = (RecyclerView) headerView.findViewById(R.id.rvtimepicker);
lvAddress.addFooterView(footerView);
If you are Trying to add a View which will be shown even if we scroll the List Up or Down... u can do something like this. I had done this before But as a header.
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:orientation="vertical"
android:id="#+id/new_container"
android:background="#color/white"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<Button
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="LOAD EARLIER MESSAGES"
android:id="#+id/loadMore"
android:background="#90F58220"
android:visibility="visible"/>
<RelativeLayout
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:id="#+id/listContainer"
android:layout_below="#+id/loadMore"
android:layout_above="#+id/container">
<ListView
android:id="#+id/messagesContainer"
android:transcriptMode="normal"
android:dividerHeight="0dp"
android:divider="#null"
android:stackFromBottom="true"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent" />
</RelativeLayout>
<RelativeLayout
android:id="#+id/container"
android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:background="#ffffff"
android:paddingTop="10dp"
android:paddingBottom="10dp"
android:paddingLeft="0dp"
android:paddingRight="0dp"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" >
</RelativeLayout>
The LoadMore Button is always visible on the Top of the List...
To add it to footer, Just Change
android:layout_below="#+id/loadMore"
android:layout_above="#+id/container"
to
android:layout_above="#+id/loadMore"

Advertisement to appear above and below the main layout in ListView

I want to display a picture advertisement at the bottom of the display area. I've tried using bottom but it didn't work. Can you help me?
MainActivity.xml
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:orientation="vertical"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
tools:context=".MainActivity">
<include
android:id="#+id/tool_bar"
layout="#layout/tool_bar"
></include>
<LinearLayout
android:id="#+id/adLayout"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"
android:layout_gravity="center_horizontal"
android:orientation="horizontal"></LinearLayout>
<ListView
android:id="#+id/ilcelerListview"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"></ListView>
</LinearLayout>
Picture link : For Example
I can give your two tip to do that.
You can use RelativeLayout instead of LinearLayout at MainActivity.
For that, you can easy to add a view which you want to add to bottom.
Or
ViewGroup rootView = (ViewGroup) activity.findViewById(Window.ID_ANDROID_CONTENT);
LayoutParams params = new LayoutParams(
ViewGroup.LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT, ViewGroup.LayoutParams.MATCH_PARENT);
//you can use params to set in the bottom or other positions
//view is yours
rootView.addView(view, params);

Android: Custom FlowLayout

I want to make this kind of menu of tags in android. Fill layout dynamically and align to center.
How can I do that?
Edited using library recommended by #Dory
<FlowLayout
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:f="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
android:orientation="horizontal"
f:debugDraw="false"
f:weightDefault="0"
f:layoutDirection="ltr"
android:gravity="center"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:paddingLeft="6dip"
android:paddingTop="6dip"
android:paddingRight="12dip"
android:paddingBottom="12dip"
android:background="#android:color/black"
android:id="#+id/l_flow"/>
<Button xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_marginBottom="3dp"/>
Flowlayout in one xml file Button is in another xml file. I'm inflating Button then fLayout.addView(button);
what I get is this Padding top and bottom between views is higher than expected
finally I did it with help of this library. I have used only class FlowLayout and attr.xml My main.xml looks like this:
<com.example.FlowTest.FlowLayout
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:id="#+id/flow"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:gravity="center_horizontal"
android:background="#android:color/white"/>
and my item layout looks like this:
<Button xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_gravity="center_horizontal"
android:padding="5dp"/>
And in my Activity's onCreate method:
LayoutInflater mInflater = LayoutInflater.from(this);
mFlowLayout = (FlowLayout) findViewById(R.id.flow);
String [] names = {"goods", "shops", "cars", "washing machine","blablabla","clothes","books"};
for(int i = 0; i<names.length;i++){
Button b = (Button)mInflater.inflate(R.layout.item_flow,mFlowLayout, false);
b.setText(names[i]);
mFlowLayout.addView(b);
}
Take a look
here, you can use this library
Edit:
There is attributes provided in the where you can set horizontal and verticalspacing of the Flow Layout. See below sample xml :
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:f="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<FlowLayout
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
f:horizontalSpacing="5dp"
f:verticalSpacing="5dp" />
</RelativeLayout>
Happy coding :)

Adding buttons below GraphView, all inside a Fragment

I have been trying to add Button's below a GraphView, and all these elements are part of a Fragment. Tried many approaches but none of them worked properly.
This is the layout file for the Fragment (fragment_graph.xml).
<FrameLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
tools:context="com.nma.util.sdcardtrac.GraphFragment">
<LinearLayout
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:id="#+id/graph_fragment_layout"
android:orientation="vertical"
/>
</FrameLayout>
And this is the Java code dynamically adding a graph and button, placed in the Fragment's onViewCreated (View view, Bundle savedInstanceState).
storageGraph = new LineGraphView(getActivity(), graphLabel);
storageGraph.addSeries(graphSeries); // More config calls follow
...
LinearLayout view = (LinearLayout)getView().findViewById(R.id.graph_fragment_layout);
Button button = new Button(getActivity());
button.setText("Test");
view.addView(storageGraph);
view.addView(button);
The Button is not visible though I have set orientation to vertical for the LinearLayout containing it.
EDIT - solved!
I found that nesting the graph under its own LinearLayout and the buttons under another LinearLayout, and both of these wrapped in a LinearLayout fixed the problem! The LinearLayout containing the graph must be weighted (I chose a weight of 0.8).
Layout file looks like:
<FrameLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
tools:context="com.nma.util.sdcardtrac.GraphFragment">
<LinearLayout
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:id="#+id/graph_fragment_wrap"
android:orientation="vertical"
>
<LinearLayout
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:layout_weight="0.8"
android:id="#+id/graph_fragment_layout"
android:orientation="vertical" />
<LinearLayout
android:id="#+id/graph_buttons"
android:orientation="horizontal"
android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"
android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:layout_gravity="center_horizontal"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content">
<ImageButton
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_gravity="center_horizontal"
android:src="#drawable/ic_navigation_previous_item"/>
<ImageButton
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:src="#drawable/ic_navigation_next_item"/>
</LinearLayout>
</LinearLayout>
</FrameLayout>
I've just tried it and it works. Perhaps your graph is taking all the available space, so added button is below the screen? Try to wrap your LinearLayout into a ScrollView and see if there is a button in the bottom.
