I created an Android App and Integrated AdMob, inMobi and mMedia SDKs in it, and I used AdMob Mediation to serve ads to my app. When I go to AdMob Mediatio page and open an adUnit, its says "Pending" for both inMobi and mMedia. the question is:
1) What's this "Pending"?
2) Do mMedia and inMobi ads serve to my app?
3) Should I do something else for my app?
any other suggestions, I will be grateful
Thanks in advance
Regards
1) What's this "Pending"?
Essentially you have to register each app with AdMob, InMobi and mMedia. These companies verify each app before you can use their SDKs. This process usually takes couple of days. That's why it says "pending". Just double check that you have followed all instructions correctly. If you've added a faulty URL your app can be stuck in pending stage.
2) Do mMedia and InMobi ads serve to my app?
YES!
3) Should I do something else for my app?
I'm assuming the app is live on the app store. If yes, then you should be ready to start serving ads on your app once its verified.
I work at InMobi so if you have any other questions, do let me know :)

The problem
A client wants to use AdMob to print his own in-house ads in his own application. He wants to monetize the app through his own sponsors, hence he creates the necessary ads himself and shows them on the app in native ads.
At first we tried to implement our own advertisement system but the app was rejected by Google.
So my former manager (before being fired for incompetence) sold to the client an AdMob account and training (?) by Google (whatever that means). I had to take over recently after having implemented the native ad into the application.
The actual setup
In AdMob I have created the following campaign:
with the following goal (manual eCPM):
I have the following Mediation group created:
with the following settings:
State of things
Still all I see are ads from the AdMob Network. I can't publish the app on a large scale yet because of the missing in-house ads.
What am I doing wrong? I've seen unfortunately few tutorials on the subject and over all they contradictory on the eCPM values.
Thank you in advance!
I was doing tests with admob, I innocently linked an existing application in the playstore that is not mine, obviously I was not going to create it, I clicked on the close button but Admob linked the applications.
Obviously I do not have any ad unit, but I can not modify or delete the application to remove in link between that admob app and the playstore app.
Can Admob suspend my account for this error?
Can remove that link between the Admob app and the Playstore app?
You cannot delete an app from your AdMob account, although you can hide it as mentioned here
Admob doesn't have any direct policy about connecting someone else app to your account, so no one can tell you for sure but it's quite improbable that they will suspend your account. And I have this opinion on the base that in the "Adding A Link To Your App" documentation , they have only warned us like this(only):
Make sure you link the correct app. You can't change it later.
I have read somewhere that in earlier Admob version you could delete your app from App Settings page (and that version is still live, but not accessible from the Admob URL, you may search for it)
In the end, I'll say just hiding your app is enough.
I've been trying to implement Google Admob ads to my brand new app.
I've been handling an error code of 0 (internal error), and "Ads: Error waiting for future" exceptions for hours.
I have an Admob account with payments methods since this morning. I have been following the Google Admob tutorial for Interstitial Ads with my credentials and the test credentials. I have updated the Google Play Services. Anything worked.
Now I've downloaded the Admob Sample App in order to test the interstitials in another app... and it didn't work too!
I don't even know if my phone is the problem (Samsung Galaxy S8 Exynos) or it's Google!
I've been looking on the internet for hours and nothing worked. Please Help. Ask me anything you need to help me, I don't even know which files do you need.
This is what google says
"It could be that you have only recently created a new Ad Unit ID and requesting for live ads. It could take a couple of hours
for promotions to begin getting served if that will be that case. In
the event that you are getting test advertisements then your execution
is fine. Simply hold up a couple of hours and check whether you can
get live advertisements at that point. If not, can send us your Ad
Unit ID for us to investigate."
so you have need to wait for the few hours :)
I was using AdMob to display their Ads in my android app and it was working great. I decided to try ad mediation with AdMob. I followed their guidelines, registered an account in InMobi and set up everything that I was supposed to (I guess). But now there is no difference in displaying ads. I mean I still get ads from google, and only from google (just like earlier). InMobi and AdMob show that I didn't generate any impressions and I have no idea what could have gone wrong.
For the record I changed my "ads:adUnitId" in layout, app was in market for more than 24h and generated some clicks, there is only one strange error in the LogCat (Failed to find provider info for com.google.plus.platform) and InMobi is printing some responses in LogCat.
Example response from InMobi:
InMobiAndroidSDK_3.6.2 : requestactivity=AdRequest&tp=c_gwhirl&u-rt=0&d-device-screen-density=1.5&d-device-screen-size=480X854&mk-siteid=a84ad8be300942ef8d356180085f8a41&u-id-map=uoJf3VOg5BXq327SMdvB5HwqkNA3jxHbj5FTAQhhpjIvzCnyMm%2BbQ3gGYv6%2BFukANGHv9uZdrfum%0AMcqlu8fqSw%3D%3D%0A&u-id-key=-991818964&u-key-ver=1&aid=bd3df942-9b44-49db-a8ed-798012f10bbb&mk-version=pr-SAND-DTGTC-20121219&mk-rel-version=3.6.2&format=xhtml&mk-ads=1&h-user-agent=Mozilla%2F5.0+%28Linux%3B+U%3B+Android+2.3.4%3B+en-gb%3B+LT18i+Build%2F4.0.2.A.0.62%29+AppleWebKit%2F533.1+%28KHTML%2C+like+Gecko%29+Version%2F4.0+Mobile+Safari%2F533.1&u-appBId=counterpicks.leagueoflegends&u-appDNM=LoL+Counter+picker&u-appVer=1.12&d-localization=en_gb&d-netType=wifi&d-orientation=1&mk-ad-slot=15
InMobiAndroidSDK_3.6.2 : Ad Response: <AdResponse><Ads></Ads></AdResponse>
So I guess that's a normal, working response.
No idea why mediation doesn't work.
It turned out that waiting 24h wasn't enough. After about 48h everything started to work.
I have app in the android market
I add to this app admob ,I can see the advertisement in the test mode.
so I upload a upgrade version to the market.
after that I download the app to my device but I dont see there nothing.
On the website of admob I can see 635 Requests but no money 0.0$
So what is the reason that the advertisement don't show up?
Thanks
Beno
Admob doesn't serve ads for all requests. In the administration of admob you should be able to find something they call impressions. That is the number of ads actually viewed. You should also find something they call "fillrate". That is the ratio between impressions and requests.
Admob says it might take a while before the system is warmed up before starting to actually return impressions for requests. And you will not see that you make any money unless people press the ads.
So be a little patient and the ads will probably show up.
Best regards
