Google play store ---This Item is Not available in your country - android

I am an Android developer I just uploaded an app in Android market according to client requirement i can download the app and install it but my client cannot download the app it just pops the message like "This item is not available in your country" but i selected all countries while uploading the app,i Surfed internet but i found solution to root phone or to install any software is there any other solution which could help me

Some years late to the party, and Android Market has since been renamed to Google Play Store, still:
There's no need for a rooted phone.
Your client should find the appropriate app settings for the Google Play Store (or Android Market) app, and choose Force Stop. When next run, your client's Play Store app will retrieve account settings from a server, rather than using some cached value, and your app should install cleanly after that.

Google Play support says:
You can only change your Play country once per year.
When you change your country, you won’t be able to use your Google Play balance that you have in your old country in your new country.
So, avoid Google Play and use another market app. I suggest either:
APKPure
Aptiode
Both allow auto-updating apps.

Distribute unlisted Android apps on Google Play

Google Play has something called Private Apps: https://support.google.com/googleplay/work/answer/6145139?hl=en
However, to my understanding this means that only members of my organization can install the app. It doesn't say what "organization" mean but I assume it's members of a Google Workspace or a specific email domain.
I want to achieve something similar to Apples "Unlisted apps": https://developer.apple.com/support/unlisted-app-distribution
This means the app is present on the Appstore, but it's not listed or searchable. Only if you have the link to the app you can download it, and the user will receive automatic updates.
Is there something similar on Google Play? I want to distribute and update the app via Google Play, but only to users that I share the url with.
You can publish the app on the Google Play store via the Play Console and while selecting where to launch (publish) the app, add the app/app bundle only to the closed testing option. There you can add specific email ids and only those will be able to see the app, get updates, etc. no one else.
we use internal testing on playstore to test the app internally before we move to closed and open beta. More details can be access in the below link

Published app does not appear in a play store category list

I have published my app to the play store. I can search the play store on my device and find it no problem. The play store tells me this app will work on all of my devices so I don't believe I have a feature/version issue.
I set up the store listing in the Google Play Console as follows.
Play store Categorization:
Application type Applications:
Category Tools
When I open the play store on my device and select categories/tools, My app does not show up on any of the lists.
Does the information previously mentioned need to be in my manifest?
Thanx
It turns out that Google app category lists are not automatic. The information would do no good in the manifest. See my response from Google.
"The categorized lists of apps that you see in the Google Play store are curated lists. Due to the number of requests the Google Play editorial team receives, the team is currently not accepting self-nominated apps for featuring. Please know that the team is always looking to spotlight great apps (new and existing apps) for Google Play users and updates their featured lists frequently. If your app is selected, they’ll be in contact to let you know."

How to make users auto update application using google play store

I am working in a small organization where we develop our own applications to be used by our own employees in the field. Already 150 employees installed our application in their tablets from SDcard.
We realized some changes required so we developed another version of our application. Now we want application to be updated automatically .So I uploaded the updated application in google play store and set the device's google play store auto update setting to "update apps any time. data charges may apply". Now when i searched the application name in device's google play store i am able to see the application with Update button but my application is not getting updated automatically in my tablet, not even showing in the updates available list.
Can anyone suggest what i need to do so that my application will get updated in all 150 tablet automatically.
Did google changed any security setting for which my application is not getting updated automatically.
Note : My application is a hybrid application developed using Cordova
Thanks in advance
I am pretty sure that Google Play won't automatically update an application initially installed from other sources. There is nothing you can really do about it but install it manually from Google Play.
Google Play not allow.
But You can check from your server and show message request user updated.

How to update app with Google Play and force download

I'm using android studio. I have developed an app and now I want to upload it to Google Play. I have a license and I have uploaded an app before, but I didn't really know what I was doing at that time.
What I want is to upload my app to Google Play, and then upade it without losing the reviews and rating. How do I do that?
And, what is the best way to force a user to download an update? I am going to upload the app to Google Play and to Amazon Appstore (for android), so a link to Google Play or something similar is maybe not the best solution. I was thinking - a toast message "please update the app". What do you think?
Updating an existing apk on Google Play Store:
1) Go to your Google Play Developer Console
2) Select All applications in that select "Your Application"
3) Select Upload APK.
4) Choose from the Production, Beta, or Alpha channels and select Upload your APK.
It take few hours to publish update. more information about upload, publish, etc.
Forcing users to update: There are three things
1) It is not possible in Google Play Store, unless user have set automatic update on.
2) You can use external library like UpdateChecker, AppUpdater, etc.
3) You can change your application structure in that way that whenever user starts you application internal contents get update. (This is not a feasible option, I guess)
What is KeyStore?
It is used to build singed apk.
Keep your keystore in a secure location. If you lose your keystore, you'll need to publish the app with a new package name and a new key. If you need to do this, you should also unpublish the original app and update its description
Please check out this library, actually it provides what you want with simple approach.

When you publish a new version of your app to the Play Store, you will not lose any of the prior ratings for that app.
You can't force users to update your app. It is fully under their control. Some people may have automatic updates turned on, but for those who do not, they have to choose to receive the update.
Google added this new feature you can add to your app to force in-app update based on if you want the update immediate or flexible

How to distribute updates to users of pre-installed paid Android App?

I wrote a small Android app. It is published on Google Play as two distinct versions
a free demo version with limited features
and the paid version without limitations
Now I have been approached by the distributor of a tablet who wants to pre-install my app on his device. Obviously, I want the owners of his product to benefit from later updates for my app.
Is there a way to pre-install the paid app on the device and still allow free updates to the app?
Thanks!
The pre-installed app has to be free. This comes verbatim from the Google Play Support site:
Unpublished Apps
Existing app users will still be able to receive app updates, even if
you unpublish your app. If you don't want new users to find and
download your app but still want to provide updates to your existing
users, set your app to Unpublished in the Developer Console.
Updating system apps
The user’s system apps (including any pre-loaded apps) are shown in
the My Apps section of the user's device in the Google Play store as
soon as an application with the same package name is uploaded to the
Google Play Developer Console, even if the application is unpublished.
Google Play can manage updates to preloaded applications, provided the
following conditions are met:
The preloaded app needs to be in the system partition
The preloaded app needs to be free
The preloaded app needs to be signed with the same signature as the app published in Google Play
The Package Name of the preloaded and updated app needs to be the same
The Version Code of the updated app needs to be greater than that of the preloaded app
This should happen automatically as long as you use the same signing key and package name.
You can test this and verify by doing the following:
Install the .apk file that you will be providing to the distributor
(lets call this 2.0).
Now upload 2.1 to Google Play (same signing key and package name)
When the user's automatic update checking runs, or when the user opens the package in Google Play, the update will be offered and work great.
The only case I have seen where this doesn't work is with cross-licensing. For example, if I license an App through the Amazon appstore, I will see updates in Google Play, but attempting to update will give me a "not paid" or "buy now" error.
In a common LVL implementation, if a user is not licensed, app should hang at start page and prompt user a dialog pointing them to purchase URL (can be opened via either Google Play client app or web browser).
For a paid app (LVL integrated and published via Google Play), if end user want to use it and keep receiving updates, he must use his Google account purchase it via either Google Play client app or Google Play web version.
The normal procedure to get paid app via Google Play client app is:
Purchase
Download
Install
Is there a way to pre-install the paid app on the device and still allow free updates to the app?
You can send them app-pro.apk file and let them install it without purchasing it first, however, when the app is first opened and in case that license check (requires Google Play client app installed on end user's device) is failed, the purchase dialog should popped up and ask them purchase it. Once the user has purchased it and open the app again and pass license check, he can start using it normally (with ability to update).
The answer is Yes, you can let user pre-install paid app, but in order to use it normally and keep receiving updates, the user must purchase it anyway.
I'm looking for solution for the same problem, and it appears to be impossible.
But I think I have a workaround:
Make your app free, with limited functionality, and offer advanced features ("pro" version) with in-app purchase.
For the in-app purchase version you can have a second licensing method. I'm not sure if it's allowed by Google Play terms, but technically this way you can support these two kind of users, and still have them update automatically through Google Play.
