Is it possible, with AIR app, to automatically open the phone app on IOS when the user clicks on the number ?
I've managed to do so with Android :
phoneNumber.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, phoneClick, false, 0, true);
function phoneClick(event:MouseEvent):void
{
navigateToURL(new URLRequest("tel:255050"));
}
But it's not working on IOS.
Thank you for your help,
Yes. We can do it using the Native Extension. You have to develop the Native Extension for your application and AIR Application will pass the request to the Native Extension and Native Extension will be execute it.
Native Extension is nothing but Native Application development which will be provide OS Level request execution from AIR Application.

I am working on a React project. The same web app has its Android and IOS apps as well.
When I copy a web app's link to android users' mobile phone, It asked to open through web or app like this.
But I try to open the same thing with the IOS device. It directly opens the link in the web browser.
I am new to this project and I have no access to any documentation for the project. How can I add android behaviour to the IOS? Is this can be done in the React web app itself?
I think this will help with support universal links:
https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/documentation/General/Conceptual/AppSearch/UniversalLinks.html
In addition, there is a very detailed explanation here in terms of react native. I wanted to direct you in case you might not have come across.

I have developed an application using Angular 7 with Responsive Web Design(RWD). I have converted this application into an Android APK that runs the app inside a webview. However, I have found Some of features of Native app ( like Opening Camera,Open file browser) in android App not working.
What extra effort would be needed to convert an RWD to webview Android App?
Javascript nor code running inside a webview by their nature, do not have access to a device's hardware. You will need to access the OS's native code to be able to use them.
The easiest approach I would recommend is using a hybrid app platform such as cordova.
At work we are thinkng about creating an android application to launch our webapp. (We need an APK)
So we are thinking about two possible solution :
Using apache cordova to launch our client side code.
Using react native (we don't will to recreate another client side app), so we will just launch our web app inside react native webview.
What did you think is the more suitable and the best ?
Thank's
i have a native android app and i'm making another app using cordova and phonegap,
Is it possible when i open my cordova app it will run on background the other native app?
Thank you
I'm not sure but I think is to mix the native code for the core service with the Webbased UI.
you can take a look at Cordova-Plugin-BackgroundService
but it is for android only.
We have a responsive web application for desktop users and it is working fine. My organization also has native android app. Now, the requirement is to integrate responsive web app with native android app (using webview). Same time, we are looking to access some native features of device like capture photo from web application.
We suggested to use phonegap but don't know how we can integrate phonegap javascript api with existing web application without creating phonegap/corodova application. Idea is that, user just hit the native app button and on listener it will invoke webview with webapp url. By checking user agent we will be able to load phonegap JS api and it will be able to access native features.
Issue is that, Don't know whether it is possible or not, if yes then how we can enable phonegap api in existing web app. Desktop and mobile user will get same experience.
Use WebView component of phonegap in your application, read documentation
