Can not do the animation sequence of buttons - android

I'm trying to create an animation buttons. I have 3 buttons. I created an animation as I need to. and applied it to the buttons. but it is performed on all buttons simultaneously. I want her to be followed sequentially. first there is the first button, then the second, then a third.

You have to set an AnimationListener on the Animation and keep track of the number of times it finished and start the appropriate next Animation like so:

This way, the kitchedBtn will be animated first and when the Animation ended, the onAnimationEnd method will be called, starting the next Animation.

using startOffSet you can avoid the issue. like this:

Lets say you have a LinearLayout(or any viewgroup) that you want to add these buttons dynamically. You can do like this:

How to scroll recyclerView programmatically?

I have a horizontal recyclerView, When I first open the activity I want to make all the items in recyclerview scroll to the bottom (to the right in this case) and back to the top (to the left). Kinda like an animation. Scroll behavior should be visible to the user.

it works however it just slides the recyclerview as a whole, I just want to scroll(slide) the items. How can I do this?
You can use scrollToPosition()
recyclerView.post(new Runnable() {

To move up again, you need to call the above method with index 0. But first, you need to make sure that the RecyclerView is scrolled to last.
So, put a ScrollListener on RecyclerView to make sure the last item is visible.

Slide up animation for selected listview items

I have a listview. I want to add one animation that is if I select one list item then it will be removed and rest of the items below that item will be shifted up with slide up animation. I have done this with linear layout by getting its child position but I am not able to understand how to slide up rest elements of listview. Please help

Animation only triggers the first time

I am making an application on Android which generates one of the two available images on clicking a button and after a duration of 1 second, that image is supposed to fade away, giving the user a choice to click the button again.
The problem is that the animation works smoothly on the first button press (i.e. generates an image and then fades away), however on the second button press, the image just sits there and nothing happens. I can't figure out why.

Any idea why the code is not reaching the Animation block on 2nd click onwards?
Alright. I was able to solve my own query.
I replaced
secondimage.setAnimation(fadeout);
with
secondimage.startAnimation(fadeout);
On doing so, the code was able to reach the onAnimationEnd function.
The easiest thing to do is create/inflate a new instance of the Animation type object for each view that needs animation. As you have it now, it's trying to reuse the same object.

Animation on removeAllViews Android

I have a class where I include another layout on a button click. This included layout has some buttons and a code which executes on clicking these buttons. I have used a counter which indicates the number of times the button is clicked. First time clicking on the button includes the layout and the second time clicking removes the views and so on. The code at the end

removes the view but fails to process the animation. I have tried using removeView but in that case the buttonclicks in the if statement fail to execute the second time. What am I missing here? How can I achieve it?
The answer is pretty simple. You have to remove the view after the animation is finished. This can be achieved pretty simple, first you have to set an animation listener for your animation and in the onAnimationEnd callback - which is called when the animation is finished - you remove the views.

translation animation issue

I want to make a layout animated through translation animation from screen's particular X Y position. and this is happening very correcty. now the problem starts when animations completes the layout again go to screen's top rihgt corner. i want the layout stay at the same position on which the animation ends.

animTranslate.setFillAfter(true);
before you start the animation. According to java docs:
If fillAfter is true, the transformation that this animation performed will persist when it is finished.
use before animation starts
animTranslate.setFillAfter(true);
