How to integrate wordpress in my Android app - android

I want to build an application in which user can Log in with his Wordpress account, then he can also create, edit, see different posts present in his account. I have gone through so many links but still unable to understand how can I do this.
Finally I got a name called "XML-RPC API". But I am not aware of anything regarding the same. My app flow should be like that :-
Step1 - User should be able to login to his wordpress account.
Step2 - User can Create a new Post.
Step3 - User will be able to see all of the posts previously created and also can edit it.
I am struggling with the same, any help would be appreciable.
Thanks

Well if you have heard of XML-RPC for the first time, belive me you dont want to go that way :P. Unless you have lot of spare time and someone who is pretty good with API's.
I dont know if you have heard about it, but there are many services that offer you to create your own android and ios app. There is even a free plugin for it
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wiziapp-create-your-own-native-iphone-app/
And then there is an app from wordpress it self, its just for your own use you cant customize it.

And some others

Is there any way to determine whether the same individual who have visited your website also downloaded and installed your phone app?

Currently, I'm looking to see if there is a way to sync the information we've obtained through an online site with the information we use on a phone application.
All I need to know is that the user that visited our site is the same user that is using our phone application, No stats and preferably no one needs to enter a thing.
You won't get that from Apple, because of their history with privacy concerns, but you could do something like generate an identifying number in your app, that your web site asks for, that would tie the two together. Of course, you'd have to make allowances if your app is deleted from the device, then re-installed, to either make sure you're generating the same number, or other such solution as befits your requirements.
The first thing that would come to my mind is Google Analytics, available for different platforms and services (i.e. Youtube, etc). You would have to go through Google Analytics API to figure out a way on how to track a particular customer visit across several location/platforms.
See Hello Analytics example of Google Analytics API
See Data Feed API
Ok, so far I've answered my own question for androids. Apparently you can pass a referrer param through google play which actually allows your app to receive the parameter and they even have an app that test this functionality.

now I have yet to test this, nor is it a possible solution for iOS.

List app in MyGlass as glassware

I am developing an app for Glass.
The app uses some options that the user should be able to access in the MyGlass app on the phone. Therefore I would like to get my app listed in the MyGlass app under glassware with an options tab.
However I can't figure out if it's possible to get my app to show there, and if possible how this should be accomplished.
The screenshots illustrate what I would like to do.

I strongly suggest that as soon as you feel your Glassware is on track to go into MyGlass that you start the review and distribution process.
You can learn more about it at the distribute page of the Glass Developers site, but there are a few key things to know, particularly when it comes to your request for a settings page:
Submit as soon as you think you might be ready (or even nearing readiness), but remember that the review process will take some time, and you should think of this as a closed beta period. So after you've reviewed the checklist you should submit your Glassware using this form.
During the review process they will send you feedback about how to make it more "Glass-like". If you've followed the design principles and best practices, this should go fairly smoothly.
The Settings page you want is one of the things you'll specify in the form. This will be a URL, and the reviewers will test how well this works as well and how it supports other design criteria.
Even if you think your Glassware is perfect, make sure you're open minded to suggestions from the reviewers. Part of their job is to help you make your Glassware great.
The way to get your candidate glassware to the MyGlass store is covered in this section of the official guides:
https://developers.google.com/glass/distribute/index
You can also find the form to submit your app there. Make sure you read through and rigorously followed the best practices before submitting the app, the review process seems to be quite thorough.

Ways to develop a review system in Android

I am developing an android application that searches for various places. The app needs to have a review system where users write reviews about the places they've visited as well as view the reviews submitted by other users. It'd also be necessary to only show a few reviews in the activity and load more once button, say is pressed.I dont know where to start. Any help'd be appreciated.
Try to start with a project ;) You see its a classic client-server app so you gonna need a server with own server-API or REST API. That's for uploading/downloading reviews. For all other just try to do something then you'll be more certain with your questions

Programmatic way to collect comments for Android App

I released and Android app, and I want to be able to collect comments in some sort of programmatic fashon. I've looked around the the web and can't seem to find any Google API or any 3rd party service. Does anyone have any suggestions or know something I don't?
I was thinking about writing some sort of HTML scraper to just extract them from the developer console, but I wanted to get some feedback before I start that little adventure.
Thanks
You can use the unofficial Android Market API (It is still called like that).
It scrapes the content from the play store, so you can do all kind of things with it:
E.g. get the description, app logo, comments etc.

AdMob and how does it work?

I'm confused about AdMob. I just signed up and I want to put ads in an app. I went to add site/app thinking this was it. There is a question and field that says Android package url. I clicked the question mark and it talks about formatting it like this market://details?id=. First, it talks about how it will link my app to ads so if someone clicks on it then it will go to my app in the marketplace. Well I haven't put the app in the market place yet and I don't think that is even a correct URL and I trying to get adds in my app not me make an add about my app. Can someone please enlighten me on how this all works and how to get it set up where I can have ads on an app. Thanks
When signing up for AdMob they want to see where your application currently is, but this isn't an essential part of the process from your point of view.
Basically, for AdMob (as well as a whole slew of other similar sites) you download a small SDK that you include in your Android application. This SDK usually has a View that you can plop on one of your Activities. You give that control some information, like a private AdMob key (so it knows which person you are) and then that control will provide an ad from the server. Note: it usually doesn't work right off the bat and there is a "development mode" setting you can set to always pull back a fake ad while you are just working on it.
You may also want to sign up for multiple sites and check out AdWhirl which allows you to manage the ratio of ads you display from each site, since you will find that some sites will generate more revenue for you than others.
Good luck!
Though its an older post, but still if it helps anyone who wants to display ads in their app. Based on many of findings with friends I would suggest to look for other ad network than admob. Imagine you set all things right, follow rules correctly, feel happy about your earnings through ads on your admob console and then suddenly one fine day you get an email from google admob that your account is suspended for invalid activity. Well what does it mean? In simple terms, it means google don't tell you what did you do wrong and will keep all your earnings. It's natural for every newbie developer to settle with admob being google's own ad network. But dont fall for this trap, if you don't want to lose your money better avoid admob.
It would be nice if readers share their experience with other ad network. It can help all of us I think.
Edit: I put this in a comment originally, but seemed suited better as an answer.
Google keeps switching the location of the Admob integration instructions which is driving me nuts. It has moved 3 times in the past 6 months. It originally was nicely done in wiki format, then moved to a PDF and now it is part of the Google code website which is here.
On this site you will find what you need, but unfortunately, you will have to dig a bit to get everything you need.
