Android Studio problems switching themes - android

I switched back and forth between the Dracula and Default theme. Now my text folder in the source set has a different color. How do I fix that? Tried invalidating the caches, restarting. But I couldn't fix it. Attached is a screenshot.

My guess - this folder is somehow special. It's either ignored (vcs), excluded etc. Check your color settings:
File > Settings > Editor > Color & Fonts > File Status and look through the styles in your active scheme. One of those probably has a dark background set.

How to change my background theme in android studio

I change the theme in my android studio and it changes in all places, except in the background and in the code style, does anyone know how to change in these places, below I left a print to see that the code style is pretty ugly.
Follow Below steps -
Go to File and click on Settings.
Under the Appearance & Behaviour -> Appearance, find Theme.
Choose the Default theme from the drop-down and click on Apply and then Ok.
Here you can see the background and color scheme for all three themes.

Change Android Studio 1.5 Interface Color

I changed my color scheme from Default to Dracula, and along with the syntax colouring, the Android Studio interface was set to dark as well.
However, now if I select the Default theme again, the interface remains dark, and would not change back to light grey/white as it should.
I read that in other version's of Android Studio you could change the interface color from Preferences > Editor > General > Appearance, but I cannot find any theme-related settings there.
From your Keyboard press Ctrl+` (back quote) a popup will show
change whatever you want to change from there.
Did you go to: Settings > Appearances > Theme
From there in the theme window, did you see a Theme drop down options? If so try changing it there.
If you've already tried this. Try restarting your Android Studio, if it doesn't make a difference, try changing it again as the change may not have saved before.
I found the theme (interface) option, in OSX is actually under Preferences > Appearance & Behaviour > Appearance.
It is not that straightforward considering the syntax colouring options are in another section entirely :/

Android Studio Change Occurrence Color

How can I change the occurrence/write occurrence color in Android Studio? Is this even possible? In Eclipse it was found (on a Mac) under Preferences->General->Editors->Text Editors->Annotations
Does Android Studio even provide this option? It's a number of small annoyances like this (as well as the massive performance issues it seems to be having thus far) that prevent me from moving to Android Studio.
Currently running Android Studio 1.2 Beta if that helps.
Go to menu
Preferences > Editor > Color&Fonts > General
Find "Identifier under caret" and change Foregound or/and Background colors with a color you wish. When you click a variable, it will be highlighted with the color you chose.
To mark selected occurrences in Android Studio you have to additionally use a shortcut
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+J
to mark them. Then all occurrences will be highlighted with darker better to see color. That option is also available in menu
Edit -> Find -> Select All Occurrences
Still if you want to change that color then you can find it in
File -> Settings -> Editor -> Colors & Fonts -> General -> Selection background
If you are using default scheme then you will have to save a new scheme to change selection background color.
Sadly I didn't find any option to change the color of selected occurrence after selecting class/variable (one click, like in Eclipse). I guess that there is no option for that yet.

Android Studio IDE color scheme settings cannot revoke to default white background

I just installed the latest Android Studio beta 0.8.
Played with the Settings -> Editor -> Colors & Fonts , changed Scheme name: from Default to 'Darcula'. So the background colour was changed to dard grey.
I don't feel comfortable with that and I changed back to Default.
Only the Editor area background revoked back to white, all other area such as Project explorer, Properties are still dark grey.
Anyway I can reset to original white background?
Thanks
Only the Editor area background revoked back to white, all other area such as Project explorer, Properties are still dark grey.
this is because the editor and the look and feel are different views. Changing the scheme of the editor in the Android Studio does not change the theme of the other views such as Project explorer, Properties etc.
Whenever the Darcula color scheme is applied to the editor inside File | Settings | Editor | Colors & Fonts, a pop-up window would prompt like below:
Upon choosing Yes, the color scheme of all the other views is changed alongside with the editor.
So, in order to change the scheme of the Look and Feel back to its default white, you need to change the theme from Darcula to IntelliJ inside File | Settings | Appearance.
Finally, don't forget to restart the IDE for the changes to take effect!

Cannot change Android Studio Logcat colors

I'm following a few tutorials in order to change my Logcat colors in Android Studio 0.6.1 without success.
To set it up I go to:
File -> Settings -> Editor -> Colours and Fonts -> Android Logcat
Once on Android Logcat, the foreground, background, etc. check boxes are all disabled.
Does anyone have an idea why?
Thanks in advance.
You cannot change the default so first you need to creat your own configuration by clicking on "save as" button.
After doing so there is a check-box below the all available color options, Entitled "Inherit Attributes From Console", Untick that checkbox will enable all color options for you.
To change the Logcat colors you can go to goto File > Settings or press Ctrl+Alt+S.
You can see this similar UI assuming you are using Darcula Theme
Note you need to unchecked Use inherited attributes in-order to modify the color.
