I'm searching lollipop phone app source code in http://android.googlesource.com/
But, There is no tree for lollipop as the link shows
https://android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/Phone/+/lollipop-release
Other old version phone app source code exists in the web site.
android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/Phone/+/eclair-sholes-release2
Is there other place to find the phone app source code?
or
Is there any reason the tree is empty?
Where should I start to find the source code?
I hope this is not too late. This seems to be what you need.
https://android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/Dialer/
You can find the latest source code for Phone app at https://android.googlesource.com/platform/packages/apps/Phone/+/android-5.1.1_r1.

I don't know why it is not working with you. If any specifics you can tell me so that I can help you with it. Ranorex is one which you can use.

Trying to find the source code to the Open licenses AlertDialog screen (at least it looks like AlertDialog). I want to put something similar in it but can't seem t find it. Does anyone know where to download that source code or have a similar example they can show me?
The Settings app is where this is done. See this activity:
https://github.com/android/platform_packages_apps_settings/blob/master/src/com/android/settings/SettingsLicenseActivity.java
The content itself is generated during the build.

MOTODEV Studio has a SQLite GUI browser that works with the emulator and rooted phones. You can install as a full package or as plugins into your existing Eclipse environment.

You could try Android SQLite Manager if you're looking for a browser program for your SQLite Db

I found an app called IM in Android's trunk on git, but that doesn't look like the Google Talk app that comes installed on Android phones.
Does anyone know if that source code is even published?
It is closed source. But you can take the apk and disassemble it using baksmali.
