Google Play application on mobile devices, has the Feature Graphic at the top of selected application view.
Unfortunately it isn't shown on the play.google.com website. e.g. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instagram.android
Is it possible to obtain this graphic without using Google Play mobile application?
Thanks for help.
Ok, its bit of hackish and very simple
get to know the package name , here which is com.instagram.android
in google image search , search for this name
in size settings, make it exact 1024*500
Bang on! The first image you'll get is 99% the feature image
:D enjoy

I am making an android application that will show google map on the screen. By clicking on a button user can download a the his/her specific region and store that in internal storage. Later when internet connection is poor or not available then user can use the offline map downloaded earlier. How to make this kind of app. Please guide me.. Thanks.
You should carefully read Google Maps APIs Terms of Service especially 10.5 (d) and 10.5 (e), because technically you can (temporary) download tiles for specific region from Google Maps server via series of URLs like http://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=m&x=95&y=55&z=7 and then create custom tile provider for Google Maps like in this answer of Alex Vasilkov. Also take a look at this answer of KENdi.
I've uploaded an Android App only available to four countries. I can't see its Google Play link indexed on Google search results. At first I thought it was due to it not being available in my country but running some tests I've found links to Apps not available at all in my country (for example ABC live TV) and whose results appear in Google Search results. Is there anything I must do to help Google index my App? I've seen there's a framework called Google Indexing but as far as I've read it's more focused on deep-linking rather than app discovery.
Just to clarify, I can access the App via the direct link from Google Play if I click on it on my Google Play Developer Console but I can't see my App in the search results if I look for it.
Can anyone just share some light about this issue?
Turned out to be just waiting for a couple weeks to wait for Google to index the App, now it's appearing properly
how can one set which screenshot will be displayed when a link to a game/app in Google Play is shared?
Example: I want to share in Facebook a link to my new game:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=info.dragonslabs.battlesnake
What appears on the wall, is the screenshot for the alternative movement settings, which is good to gain basic understanding what are the supported movement options, but by far now that I want to show as first impression of the game.
Is there any way to specify which screenshot appears - either via the share link, or to specify in the Developer Console?
Thanks!
how can I add an icon to the Google Play search field when someone searches for my android application?
Here is an example of what I would like to do: http://s12.postimage.org/dcem3mnal/Android_Play_Store_Search_Icon.png
Thank you
This is not within your control. It is done automatically by Google for popular apps. The only way you can do this is by making your app one of the really popular ones.
I am trying to create an android navigation system app for my University Campus as a project of one of my courses. I searched a lot for different solutions to implement my project. "Google indoor map" solution attracted my attention.
First, I prepared my University's map with appropriate quality.
Second, I followed the steps that were mentioned on this
website.
Third, I uploaded my indoor map here.
Fourth, I submitted my work and it was mentioned that it will be
reviewed by Google to be accepted (I submitted it maybe from 3 days).
Now, how can I know that my map was accepted? How can I view it? I really need it.
I noticed an important comment that was written here. This is the comment:
"Note: This option is only available in the US, UK, and Japan. Also,
you can only upload a floor plan from your computer."
WHY?!
Is this true?!!! Then, does this mean that I will not be able to view my uploaded indoor map of my University using Google Map??
Please, I need your help as soon as possible.
Thank you very much.
Try to unblock regional internet restrictions in your mobile device
by using vpn application.
