Android - LinearLayout like a table - android

I have a ListFragment that fills a LinearLayout with data.
In this layout I'm trying to make them looking like a table.

But I would like to make something like this:
Where the images, the teams and the score will show perfectly aligned and centered.
I'm new in android, and I'm having problems to make this working.
My question is how can I make this working like the picture?


I have modified your xml to the below. Since you need list of them, use List view and give the below layout as each list item layout. Tutorial to make list view is here. All the elements within the layout are simple view (you can modify this to ImageView with your image), TextView and hence this will not be editable by the user (to give the picture kind of effect).

Android ListView inside ListView Cut the data

In android application I use listview inside listview,
But the list view cut the data
the item is cut of
the other items I don't see at all
Here is the image shown that the single item is cut of, and the second item does not shown at all.
Any idea how can I change the height to be dynamic with the content

First use RecyclerView.
If you show the XML it will be helpful.
For the dynamic height use wrap_content for the text

Covering a horizontal "line" with 3 same sized textviews in android

I was trying to create a layout which will "divide" a horizontal line by 3 and fill it with 3 text views. Even though the following is not what I want to achieve the sample is following.
Sample design
So I started to write this and saw some problems.
1)I managed to write the headers next to each other but there are space between them.
2)They dont cover the whole screen
3)The colors and the background shape is different but I can correct it from my activity using ids.

You're not properly setting the layout. The childViews of your parentView(LinearLayout) was aligned horizontally without setting the layout weight. You should read the documentation on LinearLayout. However, to fix your layout, you can add another container to hold the first row of your layout to make the second row visible on the screen. Your current code contains all the childViews in a single row which makes the other views not visible. Try the code below:

You are setting the layout_width of each view yourself. You should know that there is a maximum width of screen that is available. Moreover, you are setting the width of button as match_parent that is not proper way when the neighbouring views have some fixed width. If your are using LinearLayout try layout_weight attribute. Play around and try to experiment.

How to add space between custom spinner items?

I've followed this tutorial Android Widgets: Custom Spinner in Android and made a custom Spinner that has an image and a text view as items, but for some reason there is no space between the items.
At the moment it looks like that when it's not clicked (which is fine):
And when I click it, it looks like that:
While the default one has plenty of space between the items:

You only need add the attribute lineSpacingExtra in your textview.

Can't create a view in layout

i've got a ListView with a custom adapter so i can customize the single row. I would create a view in the layout on the left that has as height all row height, and as width something like 5dp. So it will be like a little "strip" on the left of each row in the listview. I tried in this way

But using android:layout_height="match_parent" or android:layout_height="wrap_content" not works and the strip doesn't appear. If i write android:layout_height="20dp" it goes but of course it's not "dynamic". I don't understand why it desappears.. Any ideas?

Please modify the layout accordingly. I have already done this one, so I'm just pasting it. You just need to make use of android:layout_alignBottom and android:layout_alignTop with proper id inside your View. Here is the screen shot !

Here is a small trick. Instead of giving height to the view use a TextView and give Height as MatchParant and set TextSize according to your need and set Background color to your TextView. Hope this helps you!
