I am stuck trying to put the content from my fragment into the main view in android studio.
The app compiles and runs. But when I choose an item in the navigation drawer (sliding menu) to the item in the list with the fragment: it is blank.
My fragment contains an embedded YouTube player.
The logCat does not show an error...
From my code - what am I over looking that is wrong??

You need to call super.onCreateView(...) in the fragment's onCreateView method for the fragment to be drawn correctly.
#Override
public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreateView(inflater, container, savedInstanceState);
Also, I'd recommend doing the following, since there are a few logical errors:
View rootView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_masjidharam, container, false);
YouTubePlayerView youTubePlayerView = null;
// THIS IS ALWAYS FALSE. Comment it out or else it'll never get set.
// if (youTubePlayerView != null)
youTubePlayerView = (YouTubePlayerView) rootView.findViewById(R.id.youtube_player);
// Check for not-null here.
if(youTubePlayerView != null) {
youTubePlayerView.initialize(API_KEY, this);
}

You need to open action view. In SearchActivity in onPrepareOptionsMenu add stroke
menu.findItem(R.id.action_search).expandActionView();
There are lots of question which are similar to mine but I couldn't find any solution in those answers.
My program first shows a splash screen than comes to a log-in screen. After the user logs in I want to call the navigation drawer because my main screen and profile screen are in the navigation drawer as a fragment. So basically iI am trying to call a fragment which is a part of navigation drawer, from an activity.
Here is how I try to call the fragment;
private void loguserIn(User returnedUser){
userLocalStore.storeUserData(returnedUser);
userLocalStore.setUserLoggedIn(true);
Intent intent = new Intent(this,userprofile.class);
startActivity(intent);
}
But when i call this method it force closes.
Here is the userprofile fragment;

I don't know what is the main cause of this so tried to put everything that is involved in here.
I think this should work for you.
DrawerLayout mLayout = (DrawerLayout) mNavigationDrawerFragment.findViewById(R.id.drawer_layout);
mLayout.openDrawer(mLayout);
You cannot call a fragment with Intents. An intent is an abstract description of an operation to be performed. It can be used with startActivity to launch an Activity.
You can call your fragment with
ExampleFragment fragment = (ExampleFragment)getFragmentManager.getfindFragmentById(R.id.example_fragment);
To put the fragment in your activity, use this method in your oncreate of your activity:
if (savedInstance == null)
{
getFragmentManger().beginTransaction().Add(R.id.container, new ExampleFragment()).commit();
}
where R.id.container is the ID in your activity layoutfile of the placeholder in which you want to place your fragments.
I am making a Soudboard with a navigation drawer I am getting an error on two things here is the code

Any help would be appreciated
You need to refer to its View object (rootView) to call the method like:
ListView lista = (ListView) rootView.findViewById(R.id.listView1);
I am assuming that lay_menufragment xml contains listView1 as an ID to the ListView element.
Fix the other similar compile error the same way.
I don't see how you're launching FmMenu fragment maybe via Intent, layout, or whatever. Please post the layout file(s) also like lay_menufragment, to save time.
I want to change tab by swiping on the screen i am creating tabs using fragment tabhost but when i implement swiping feature in my project it doesn't open nested fragment in each tab means i am opening nested child fragment inside each tab.
Please tell me its very important for me.

You have to use a ViewPager. Read more at Android Developer website. You can find a lot of custom view pagers on Android Arsenal. This is the current standard, so you should use this over TabHost.
you can have a look at its demo in eclips go to
file->other->android Activity->tabbed activity
or learn the view Fliper from android developer website

and xml is
<android.support.v4.view.ViewPager xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"

Use this method in your activity for all fragment trancation
// For the Fragment Replace And AddtobackStack
void replaceFragment(Fragment fragment) {
String backStateName = fragment.getClass().getName();
String fragmentTag = backStateName;
FragmentManager manager = this.getSupportFragmentManager();
boolean fragmentPopped = manager
.popBackStackImmediate(backStateName, 0);
if (!fragmentPopped && manager.findFragmentByTag(fragmentTag) == null) {
// fragment not in back stack, create it.
FragmentTransaction ft = manager.beginTransaction();
ft.replace(R.id.container, fragment, fragmentTag);
ft.setTransition(FragmentTransaction.TRANSIT_FRAGMENT_FADE);
ft.addToBackStack(backStateName);
ft.commit();
}
}
and use it like this whenever you need to go for nested fragment from one fragmnet
if (DetailsFragment.this.getActivity() != null
&& DetailsFragment.this.getActivity() instanceof HomeActivity)
((HomeActivity) DetailsFragment.this.getActivity())
.replaceFragment(cartfragment);
in the above suppose i am in details fragment and from here i want to go to cartfragment
then get the activitiy instance and cast it like the above
