How to make oval shape of progress in horizontal progress-bar in android

I want to set progress shape inside progress-bar with oval shape but i am unable to set oval shape. please suggest me how to fix this issue below is my screen .
I want to make progress view in oval shape please help me in this issue.

How to set progressbar background

I have set the progressbar style using the below code.
I have declared the progressbar widget:

The progressbar always shows totally green (which is how it should appear when the progress value is 100), even if I set the progress value to less than 100. Any input would be appreciated.

Here is what I did to have a progress bar that was green with clear background:
android:background="#color/white"
android:progressBackgroundTint="#color/white"
android:progressTint="#color/green_light"

Finally, I find a easy solution.

you can find the default drawable xml file in your folder
"SDK_path\platforms\android19\data\res\drawable"
Overthere you can find many default style of many widgets.

You do not need a custom progress bar. Use style="#android:style/Widget.ProgressBar.Horizontal" in your layout xml file. You will also need to use
ProgressBar.incrementProgressBy(int progress);

I'm trying to create a thin, blue progress bar, similar to this:
I'm not that good with Drawables, but what I have changes the ProgressBar to green, but I'm not sure how to make it thin and blue:

The height is defined by the android:layout_height="wrap_content attribute. You could set it to 2dp for example, to create a thinner progress bar.
Changing your color will be a bit more difficult, since you are using gradients. So you'll have to change your start & end color to some kind of blue.
