I'm trying to implement NDK in Android Studio and I have some problem with implementation:
I'm using Android Studio 2.0 Preview 3b, this is gradle file
apply plugin: 'com.android.model.application'
model {
android {
compileSdkVersion = 23
buildToolsVersion = "23.0.2"
defaultConfig.with {
applicationId = "lala.lala"
minSdkVersion = 16
targetSdkVersion = 23
versionCode = 1
versionName = "1.0"
}
}
android.buildTypes {
release {
minifyEnabled = false
proguardFiles += file('proguard-rules.txt')
}
}
}
dependencies {
compile fileTree(dir: 'libs', include: ['*.jar'])
testCompile 'junit:junit:4.12'
compile 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:23.1.1'
compile 'com.android.support:design:23.1.1'
compile 'com.android.support:cardview-v7:23.1.1'
compile 'com.android.support:recyclerview-v7:23.1.1'
compile 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads:8.3.0'
compile 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-analytics:8.3.0'
compile 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-appindexing:8.3.0'
}
And this:
// Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-projects/modules.
buildscript {
repositories {
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
//classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:1.3.0'
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle-experimental:0.3.0-alpha5'
// NOTE: Do not place your application dependencies here; they belong
// in the individual module build.gradle files
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
jcenter()
}
}
task clean(type: Delete) {
delete rootProject.buildDir
}
I have problem with Gradle:
Error:Unable to load class'com.android.build.gradle.managed.ProductFlavor_Impl'.
I have tried to resolve this error but unsuccessfully.
SOLUTION:
I have solved this problem, this two lines are problematic:
minSdkVersion.apiLevel = 16
targetSdkVersion.apiLevel = 23
And I have change this lines to this two:
minSdkVersion.apiLevel = 16
targetSdkVersion.apiLevel = 23
And this problem was resolved but there is some additionial problem which I resolve by adding: multiDexEnabled = true
in defaultConfig

its a simple webview wrapper application. and i am trying to implement Firebase push notification service on it.
On your project gradle file try replace this line
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:3.0.0'
with this:
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:3.2.0'
Also you may try to update these versions:
buildToolsVersion = '27.0.3'
supportLibraryVersion = '27.1.1'
I have next issue during the project building process: build process just stuck on app:kaptDebugKotlin task.
My root project build.gradle:
apply plugin: "kotlin"
buildscript {
ext.kotlin_version = '1.1.2-2'
repositories {
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:2.3.2'
classpath "org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-gradle-plugin:$kotlin_version"
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
jcenter()
maven { url 'https://maven.google.com' }
}
}
ext {
buildToolsVersion = '25.0.2'
supportLibVersion = '25.3.1'
runnerVersion = '0.5'
rulesVersion = '0.5'
espressoVersion = '2.2.2'
archLifecycleVersion = '1.0.0-alpha1'
archRoomVersion = '1.0.0-alpha1'
}
and the app build.gradle itself:
apply plugin: 'com.android.application'
apply plugin: 'kotlin-android'
apply plugin: 'kotlin-kapt'
android {
compileSdkVersion 25
buildToolsVersion rootProject.ext.buildToolsVersion
defaultConfig {
applicationId "com.test.roomtest"
minSdkVersion 14
targetSdkVersion 25
versionCode 1
versionName "1.0"
testInstrumentationRunner "android.support.test.runner.AndroidJUnitRunner"
}
buildTypes {
release {
minifyEnabled false
proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'
}
}
sourceSets {
main.java.srcDirs += 'src/main/kotlin'
}
}
dependencies {
compile fileTree(dir: 'libs', include: ['*.jar'])
compile 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:25.3.1'
compile "org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-reflect:$kotlin_version"
compile "org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-stdlib:$kotlin_version"
compile 'io.reactivex.rxjava2:rxjava:2.1.0'
compile "io.reactivex.rxjava2:rxandroid:2.0.1"
compile "android.arch.persistence.room:runtime:${rootProject.archRoomVersion}"
compile "android.arch.persistence.room:rxjava2:${rootProject.archRoomVersion}"
kapt "android.arch.persistence.room:compiler:${rootProject.archRoomVersion}"
}
repositories {
mavenCentral()
}
I tried to use different plugin versions but it didn't help. As for using Room seems it's not a problem because this example builds without problems. Will be very appreciate for any help.
Is this still an issue?
The same problem for me was resolved by just using the newest kotlin - 1.3.60.
I am starting new android project from android studio. Below is the login screen i see . I don't know what i am missing out here.
I have no idea why is the accentColor is being shown something like this?
build.gradle ( module level )
apply plugin: 'com.android.application'
android {
compileSdkVersion rootProject.ext.compileSdkVersion
buildToolsVersion rootProject.ext.buildToolsVersion
defaultConfig {
applicationId "com.example.myapplication"
minSdkVersion rootProject.ext.minSdkVersion
targetSdkVersion rootProject.ext.targetSdkVersion
versionCode 1
versionName "1.0"
}
buildTypes {
release {
minifyEnabled false
proguardFiles getDefaultProguardFile('proguard-android.txt'), 'proguard-rules.pro'
}
}
}
dependencies {
compile fileTree(dir: 'libs', include: ['*.jar'])
testCompile 'junit:junit:' + rootProject.ext.junitVersion
compile 'com.loopj.android:android-async-http:' + rootProject.ext.loopjHttpAsyncTask
compile 'com.roughike:bottom-bar:' + rootProject.ext.bottomBar
compile 'com.android.support:appcompat-v7:' + rootProject.ext.supportLibraryVersion
compile 'com.android.support:design:' + rootProject.ext.supportLibraryVersion
}
build.gradle (project level)
// Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-projects/modules.
buildscript {
repositories {
jcenter()
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:2.2.0-alpha3'
// NOTE: Do not place your application dependencies here; they belong
// in the individual module build.gradle files
}
}
allprojects {
repositories {
jcenter()
}
}
task clean(type: Delete) {
delete rootProject.buildDir
}
ext {
//app related
compileSdkVersion = 23
buildToolsVersion = "23.0.3"
minSdkVersion = 16
targetSdkVersion = 23
//android related library
constraintLayout = "1.0.0-alpha3"
junitVersion = "4.12"
supportLibraryVersion = "23.3.0"
//custom libraries
bottomBar = "1.3.9"
loopjHttpAsyncTask = "1.4.9"
}
The issue caused by gradle build-tool version. Changing build tool version to stable one would solve it
replace
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:2.2.0-alpha3'
with
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:2.1.0'
I am using BetterSpinner in my app.
I have simply included it like that:
compile 'com.weiwangcn.betterspinner:library-material:1.1.0'
When I try to use it Android Studio even does not suggest to import the library and marks BetterSpinner red:
The code:
BetterSpinner textView = (BetterSpinner)
findViewById(R.id.registration_spinner_stufe);
textView.setAdapter(adapter);
Where is the mistake that Android Studio does not import the BetterSpinner library into my Fragment class?
The solution
"File" -> "Invalidate Caches..." -> "Invalidate and Restart"
did not work for me..
import com.weiwangcn.betterspinner.library.BetterSpinner;
import com.weiwangcn.betterspinner.library.material.MaterialBetterSpinner;
Was ignored by Android Studio:
