Deleting notification from Android notification bar

I'm using the following to code to send a notification:
NotificationCompat.Builder builder =
new NotificationCompat.Builder(getBaseContext())
.setSmallIcon(R.drawable.notification_icon)
.setContentTitle("Title")
.setContentText("Message");
int NOTIFICATION_ID = 12345;
Intent targetIntent = new Intent(getBaseContext(), MainActivity4.class);
PendingIntent contentIntent = PendingIntent.getActivity(getBaseContext(), 0, targetIntent, PendingIntent.FLAG_UPDATE_CURRENT);
builder.setContentIntent(contentIntent);
NotificationManager nManager = (NotificationManager) getSystemService(Context.NOTIFICATION_SERVICE);
nManager.notify(NOTIFICATION_ID, builder.build());
The code works as I expected except for one little thing, once I go to the notification bar, expand it and choose the notification, it keeps staying on the notification bar, opposite to the behavior of most notifications, than once you tap them they disappear from being there.
Guess it must be some option in the configuration of the notification but as much as I search I cannot find it.

Preview Notification on android

I'm using this code to show a notification to user from code :

This is juste adding the notification in the notification screen (and also the icon of my appliaction in the status bar)
But how can I have a preview of this notification on top of screen ?

Heads-up Ongoing Notification not hide

I need heads-up notification which will be not cancelable from notification drawer so I created Heads-up Ongoing notification:

The problem is that After notification shows on the top of screen it does not hide to notification drawer. But if notification is not ongoing, it hides. I need heads-up notification which will hide to notification drawer.

AFAIK, a notification needs the following properties to be set to be shown as a heads-up notification.
.setPriority(NotificationCompat.PRIORITY_HIGH)
.setDefaults(Notification.DEFAULT_ALL)
setOngoing() means that the Notification is ongoing and cannot be hidden by the user. I believe that is probably why your Notification stays on the top and doesn't hide. Remove setOngoing(true) and it should work.

FullScreenIntent only appears if I clear the notification

I'm trying to launch a FullScreenIntent from a service working in the background, but I realised that the intent would not be shown another time if I do not clear the notification from the task bar. I have tried removing the notification by removing
.setSmallIcon(R.drawable.ic_launcher)
.setContentTitle("Notification")
.setContentText("A client is calling")
but that just removes my option of clearing the notification. Can somebody help?

How to add a Dynamic image instead of notification icon in android?

I used below code for displaying notification in notification Bar.
it worked fine.
But i need to display notification icon dynamically that will come from web service.
How i can do?

I have one suggestion for you: you have to download that image which you want to show and then you can set that as bitmap: check below code. I have created one BITMAP.

Removing notifications
Notifications remain visible until one of the following happens:
The user dismisses the notification either individually or by using "Clear All" (if the notification can be cleared).
The user clicks the notification, and you called setAutoCancel() when you created the notification.
You call cancel() for a specific notification ID. This method also deletes ongoing notifications.
You call cancelAll(), which removes all of the notifications you previously issued.

just add some icons in your resource folder and then
int myIcon = R.drawable.image;
your logic goes here ....
and change value of icon according to your logic like myIcon = R.drawable.somenewimage;
and then finally set your notification
