How to create sqlite database in online storage? - android

I need to make a app that adds data to local SQLite database and uploads data to a database so other people that use the app can download that data. I thought about loading SQLite database to online storage but I do not know how to do that or what the best way is.

This is one of the simple approach:
Your app <--->PHP webpage <----> sqlite (on server) --->url of SQLite to download
Your app need to connect to a web api, such as PHP, that can handle sqlite. You can perform sql operators via the api and then get the sqlite file by simply using its URL.
Tutorial

1.First create sqlite database
2.then create oracle database
Setup Apache server like xampp. After setup open php.ini. then delete ; before oci8.dll. then save.
C:xampp/htdocs create php webservice .
5.Call php webservice from android for download upload data.
If you can't I will help you

Transferring data from Sql server to SQLITE with Android

I have software that connects to an SQL database. I am now working on the software on Android, using SQLite, and need to transfer the SQL database (with the data) to SQLite.
How can I do this?
One way would be to create the SQLite database on the device and download and persist the data into the local SQLite data base. A good place to read up on how to do this is in the Android docs.
Another possible solution would be to create the SQLite database at the server level and download it directly within the Android app then open it. But if you modify anything locally within the app you would need to send data back to the server to keep in sync.
Create Rest API that will fetch my SQL data in JSON format.
Now from android app access that API to get data and insert that data in in your SQLite.
or if you want to fetch it in background process use sync Adapter.

Syncing local device SQLite to my mySQL server

I have an Android app on the play store which uses a local SQLite DB on the device.
However, in a planned update, I want to sync the SQLite DB with an external MySQL server with the same table and database structure, through a PHP webservice.
However, in this case, I not only want to make sure the changes in my SQLite DB are reflected in my MySQL DB, I also want to make sure that the changes in my MySQL DB get reflected in the SQLite.
Would appriciate any suggestions about how to go about it.
When you call method of web service for update external MySQL server, this method can return result of this update to Android client.
please refer this link and check first two tutorial . it may solve your problem

storing sqlite database online

Previously, I developed an application with an internal sqlite database stored.
Now I need to upload that database in an online server so that admins can easily modify the contents.
Is it possible for my app to access/use the sqlite database online?
The application is done on both ios and android.
For iOS it is not possible to access an online database. You should send the data to a server side script like php and from there parse it into your database. Only need to recreate your database format on the server end.
Or export the database as a file and import it on your server with something like phpMyAdmin or something. It can import all different kinds of formats like .sql, .csv, .txt.. Whatever you like.
Good luck!
Hmm, after rereading I think you ask the question if the app is able to use the database from an online source after importing it there? Am I correct?
Simple answer.. for iOS. No. You have to return results to the app by using a POST or GET request.

I want to load my data from mysql to sqlite

If you want to connect your application with my sql server, you can use some rest service to connect with database, and return results to the calling application.
Check examples of creating, consuming rest php service by following link:

By these methods you can fetch data from a mysql server, further to create and perform database operation on a device database use following link:
