How to create a toolbar on top of navigation drawer(Android/kotlin)

I want to have a toolbar on top of navigation drawer like this

I know there are lots of method of adding a navigation bar, but i not sure where should i implement my navigation bar layout on my code. Someone please help.

Create a new layout simply call nav_layout.xml

Navigation drawer Using Tablayout and Collapsing toolbar

I want to make an activity having the functionality like: Navigation Drawer, Tablayout&viewpager for fragment and collapsing toolbar as well. Can anyone suggest me the solution?

Android DrawerLayout,CoordinatorLayout and AppBarLayout white space under AppBarLayout

I have the bellow XML layout, everything working as expected but the problem that there is a white space between the AppBarLayout and Recyclerview.

Try to use below code in the RecyclerView.
android:layout_gravity="fill_vertical"

I im just facing the same problem. It seems that this is space is reserved for the upper indicator bar.
For the moment, I have solved with android:fitSystemWindows="false" in the DrawerLayout itself, and in (this is important, you have to change the both) in the first layout content.

FloatingAction default behavior doesn't work

I'm creating an app with a navigation drawer. And over all my fragments there needs to be a Floating Action button. But when I create a Snackbar the floatingactionbutton goes up, but never goes back down.
I don't know what I have done wrong.
