In my Activity I want to Programmatically remove the filter_ll i.e., the side drawer and make it a normal activity based on the Intent Extra.


Easy, hide the button which is used to access it. Also, add this,
mDrawerLayout.setDrawerLockMode(DrawerLayout.LOCK_MODE_LOCKED_CLOSED);
where mDrawerLayout is your ActionBarDrawerToggle object in your activity. If you are doing this in a fragment, just add the above code with activity's reference like,
mActivity.mDrawerLayout.setDrawerLockMode(DrawerLayout.LOCK_MODE_LOCKED_CLOSED);

BottomNavigationView doest not shown currectly

I'm adding a BottomNavigationView to My MainActivity
at first show nothing wrong but after click on other items, BottomNavigationView strangely moving up and down. In other projects, I had never this problem and I don't know why I am getting this:
p.s: In default fragment (which is first at right in screenshot) I have a content but in other fragments, I have no content.

I realized it's happen when use CoordinatorLayout , AppBarLayout and CollapsingToolbarLayout in fragment . After remove that lines app work without any problem .

actionBar is goned when input edittext

My issue is the editText on the tabLayout is child fragment , when i input edittext the actionbar will up and disappear.
I try to add the android:windowSoftInputMode="adjustPan" or add ScrollView on the fragment xml, they are no working.
I can't find the same issue on internet.
Is anyone can teach me the solution,please.

App UI gets distorted on API 19 below

I just completed an app which is working as expected but when i run it on API 19 ---> API 16, i get a distorted UI where some of the views will overlap each other, the arrangement is disorganized and when you open another activity, the last activity UI is shown below the current activity. This error is weird to me because when i tested the app on API 22 + , it was working fine.
I tried to figure out the error but couldn't because i can't tell where the error is which left me in a confused state.

Well, i finally figured out the fix to the UI glitches.
All you have to do is Set the background of the root activity to 'White' in your activity xml files.
Thats just it!
