Android - Missing Google Play Services in VERSION: 2.1.1.0? - android

It is very strange, I am very new and as per setup instructions, I need to install Google Play services from SDK Manager, I tried a lot and finally gave up.
I just downloaded the latest VERSION: 2.1.1.0 of SDK from https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html#downloads
See below.
Can you please help me how to install the Google Play services ?

Google Repository is all you need for Google Play Services and you have that installed.

How to add google play services to eclipce

I used to use old version of Google Play Services in my projects. But now I keep getting warnings when I upload my apps to Google Play. These warnings says that I have to update my Google Play Services.
I have the latest version of Google Play Services in SDK manager with Rev.49
In the last versions of Google Play Services, I can find the Google Play library in the following directory:
SDK --> /extras/google/google_play_services/libproject/google-play-services_lib/
But now there is no libproject/google-play-services_lib/. Where can I get the library?

Hopefully you can migrate over to Android Studio, but if you're stuck with Eclipse because you're working on a legacy project, I feel for you! :(

Unable to Get Latest Google Play Services - Google API for Android

My problem is simple but I am not able to resolve it.
I have updated latest version of Android Studio and my Android SDK Manager[Screen Shot Attached] says that I have latest version of Google Repository but actually I don't have the latest versions installed. I only have Google Play Services version 11.0.4 on my machine in Android SDK Folder but its not latest version, the latest version has reached to 11.8.0 mentioned Here.
I have tried everything but I am not able to download the latest version and I need help please.
Please tell me how can I download the latest version of Google APIs for Android.
You don't need to use Google Play Services from the SDK Manager. It is recommended to use your gradle build.xml to get it from Google's maven repository. See the setup guide
If you are developing on Unity there are many plugins you can use, just Google Search for "Google Play Services Unity".

How to install Google Play Service 7.3.0 or above in Android Emulator?

I am integrating Google Plus Sign In for my app. The only thing is I have everything updated in Android SDK but still when I run my app in Android Emulator, I get a error in Android Studio saying "Google Play services out of date. Requires 7327000 but found 6774480".
Android Studio doesn't allow me to use older version of Play Services.
I searched different ways to install latest Google Play Service offline (.apk) but it gives incompatibility error when run using "adb install gps.apk".
How is it like even the latest Android OS image has old version of Google Play Service installed and not even a update indicator in Android SDK for these services?
Use APK MIRROR, it contains all version of Google Play Services.
P.S. Remember to uninstall already installed version of Google PlayService from the device before installing the new one.
Thanks Murtaza for contributing to this but I found the solution in between all this. I was using Google API image in Emulator where the Google Play Services are already installed.
So we have 2 options of Uninstalling/Reinstalling them, of which NONE worked.
What I did was downloaded the APK from your given link and installed it on the Emulator without Google API image. It successfully installs in there and I got the updated Google Play Service installed on the Emulator.

How can i change google play services version to 5100000 in Eclipse?

I've developed an android application that works well, but when i try to publish in the Google Play Store, it gives me an error that says i have google play services version 6111000 and need to have google play services version 5100000 or lower.
I've found a similar problem here that already have a solution but its for Android Studio, and i am using Eclipse. So how can i do that in Eclipse?
Thanks
Google Play Services just finished the rollout of Google Play Services 6.1 today. You should update the Google Play Services SDK to the new version and try publishing again.

Google play services out of date on a virtual machine

I'm trying to make an application using google maps, but in the emulator it does not work in console I see the following error:
W/GooglePlayServicesUtil(1041): Google Play services out of date. Requires 3159100 but found 3136130
On screen I see that I have to update google services ..
My virtual machine is 4.2.2
What do I do? I've searched the forums here .. but no solution that I've tried has worked ..
Install a compatible version of the Google APIs platform. Open the sdk manager and check if you have the updated Google play services.(assuming you use eclipse)
Quoting from the docs.
If you want to test your app on the emulator, expand the directory for Android 4.2.2 (API 17) or a higher version, select Google APIs, and install it. Then create a new AVD with Google APIs as the platform target.
Note: Only Android 4.2.2 and higher versions of the Google APIs platform include Google Play services.

Check the topic under Ensure Devices Have the Google Play services APK.
Make sure you have the latest updates
This is a Google issue. Check this out - https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=57880
They've posted a message saying that they will post the updated play services soon. Till then (as of 31 July) you won't be able to run the Google Maps API on your emulator even if you do all the steps required.
Edit: As of September 2013, they've launched an update for it..
In your SDK manager, make sure you've downloaded the latest 'Google play services' or alternatively download them manually and adb install onto the emulator.
I resolved this issue by creating a new avd with target version as : Google APIs(GoogleInc) API Level 18. (platform 4.3 google api required)
