Hide Toolbar and footer when scrolling up

I want to use the CoordinatorLayout in one of my activities.
The layout of the activity contains a Toolbar in the top, a RecyclerView in the middle, and a RelativeLayout at the bottom (the footer).
I would like to hide the Toolbar and the footer when the user swipes up the RecyclerView.
What I achieved so far:
When I swipe up, the Toolbar hides, but the footer (which was hidden before) reappears. I want the Toolbar and footer to be linked somehow, so that they hide at the same time when the user swipes.
I've heard about Behaviors but I don't know how to create them (I'm just using the default one).

Hide android toolbar on scroll of CoordinatorLayout but keep TabLayout fixed

Expected behavior:
I would like the latter to show when I open the app, and the toolbar to hide upon scrolling.
But with my activity_main.xml I am getting the following behavior:
And after scrolling down, the toolbar hides(as expected) and the SlidingTabLayout shows.
But I would like my tab layout to remain fixed below the view pager.
Now I know that this may be because I'm setting the behavior of the whole drawer layout to app:layout_behavior="#string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior", so I tried to separate the SlidingTabLayout and put it outside the drawer layout and it worked as expected, except that the SlidingTabLayout stayed over the last row of the list in my ViewPager, since in CoordinatorLayout I cannot tell DrawerLayout to remain on top of my SlidingTabLayout.
So anyone knows how I can make the toolbar hide upon scrolling but with my SlidingTabLayout to remain fixed and not hide the last row of the list?

How to prevent hide toolbar by scroll itself

I have problem with CoordinatorLayout and behavior of Toolbar.
As usual I want to hide/show toolbar by scroll.And it is work fine.But if I fling on Toolbar itself it will hide independently of recyclerView or everything else.
How to prevent Toolbar hide/show behavior by touching toolbar itself.

The answer is this :
When you click on icon in bottom bar to new fragment load do this :
For Disable :
Toolbar toolbar = findViewById(R.id.toolbar); // or however you need to do it for your code
AppBarLayout.LayoutParams params = (AppBarLayout.LayoutParams) toolbar.getLayoutParams();
params.setScrollFlags(0); // clear all scroll flags
And when click on home botton in bottom bar do it to enable Scroll toolbar:

How to get a border at the bottom of my toolbar?

I want to add a gray border at the bottom of my white toolbar so that it's distinctly separated from the main content. I'm setting up my toolbar like this:

I need to add a small gray line at the bottom of the toolbar that also scrolls with it when I move. How can I do this? I'd like to avoid making a custom layout if possible.

If you are trying to add a drop shadow type effect that will stay attached to the toolbar an easy way to get this is to wrap your SwipeRefreshLayout with a FrameLayout and place a foreground on the FrameLayout.

I am trying to use androids CoordinatorLayout and FrameLayout. What I want to have is a
toolbar
LinearLayout showing some info
tablayout
listviews
when the listviews are scrolled the toolbar and the LinearLayouts should scrollup and hide and the tabs should go at the top.

What I want to do is have a picture as the background for the entire activity, but what I see is that the AppBarLayout part is always dark. Please help.

I could do it programmatically by setting the backgroundColor in code to Color.TRANSPARENT.
