Android Tablet freezing because of download - android

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note. I was downloading a pdf file and after that my tablet is acting weirdly. Whenever I turn it off and back on, the screen would be unresponsive except for the back button and power button. Restarting doesn't work. Sometimes, when there is a prompt like choosing a browser, it sends me straight to the browser. When I go back to the home screen, everything works until I turn it off and back on again. I wonder whether I don't have to factory reset my device to solve the problem. Thanks for your suggestion.

Try resetting cache memory (reboot+shutdown button + upper button (normally)).
That may help

Android Emulator keeps crashing after button Press

My Android emulator crashes whenever I press keys on the pc keyboard or hit the emulator side buttons. the only part that works is the emulator mobile screen. This doesn't happen to just one device but to all emulators I use. This is really annoying cause whenever I press any key on the keyboard while the emulator screen is active it will instantly crash. But keystrokes won't crush it when text input is active on the emulator screen. The operating system I use is ubuntu but Windows fix is also useful.
I need help from someone who has managed to solve this problem before.
I'm pretty sure I got this error before too. Whenever I pressed a button, the emulator would just say "Saving State..." and just closes. The only solution I found to fix this was to delete the emulator and create a new one. It's not the most effective solution, but I couldn't find any other solutions.

Camera issues in Samsung j5 (2016) only

Currently working on an app in which a functionality of camera interaction is there. I just need to do is to click on a button which opens the camera & the captured picture is shown in an image view after uploading it to the server. The app works totally fine in other Android Devices, but it got stuck in particular Samsung J5 2016. So the question is, it is an issue of ONE UI of samsung or anything else in that particular device. Any help/comment will be appreciable.
RESET THE CAMERA APP ITSELF...
Apparently, it’s the camera app that has a problem so after the first two steps and the error remains, then you have to go after the app that has an issue. The best thing to do is reset it so it will be brought back to its default settings…
From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
Tap Settings.
Tap Applications.
Tap Application manager.
Tap Camera in the default list or tap MORE > Show system apps to display built-in apps.
Tap Storage.
Tap Clear cache.
Tap Clear data and then tap OK.
Restart your.

Android Emulator on Mac OS X issues clicking

Really weird issue but when I try to click once it doesn't register on the emulator but then I click again and the click registers. This is using AVD. Every other click seems to trigger in the proper place. This has nothing to do with my app just base image.
Take a look at this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axvxtGj4HPo&feature=youtu.be
and notice the first click doesn't register.
I notice the age on this thread, so not sure if you have already figured this out. I ran into something similar like this today in which no clicks were being registered at all. This issue still persisted even after closing and reopening the simulator. One thing I did notice is that the power button still worked.
I ended up fixing this by:
Clicking and holding the Power Hard Key
Restarting the device OS by clicking the Restart
After the OS Reboots, everything seems to work again.
Note: the Hard Key for power is the power button next to the volume controls on the right.
In my case it usually happens when the size on disk is very high (see in AVD Manager) and the solution in my case is to make a Wipe Data
Update #1 (Because the solution from above not always works)
Another thing I found is that when you want to swipe up from the Google bar does not open the apps menu. Then I open first the Messages app or Chrome and close again. From there the Swipe up works again.

I need creative advice for getting my Desire HD to work again

Here's the idea. I have a HTC Desire HD phone, rooted, custom rom (JellyTime 4.2.2) installed. This is the second time this has happened:
After a phone restart, phone gets stuck when loading on splash screen. I see the animation, then it stops, but splash screen stays for infinity amount of time. Last time this has happened I had android debugging on, I used android-sdk for adb reboot recovery. And got it working again, but this time I wasn't cautious, and I don't have the debugging enabled. You might ask Why not go into recovery mode using power+volume combination? Well, I can't. My volume - button is broken. So here I am, with a stuck phone, with no apparent way to reach recovery mode. Any suggestions, guys? I'd be grateful.
EDIT: I was asked to define broken. The button IS missing, but even without being missing, the bottom button simply doesn't react when you click it mechanically.
By holding the volume up I was able to get to fastboot, and then I entered my recovery mode.

Only the home button works in my apps

By default in my apps the back and menu buttons are not working, also the long press of the search button doesn't work. This only happens in my apps and it doesn't work either on my desire hd, emulator or galaxy nexus (software back button).
What could be the problem?
Is this happening only to me?
To make the back button close my application i have to hardcode it
