I am trying to add a transparent bus marker to my Google MAP, But it doesn't add the way i wanted as show in pic,GoodOne

Also it doesn't take bus exact shape but it draws in Rectangle format

Please do help on this, Is it that BITMAP makes picture loose transparency?
If your drawable (bus.png for example) has a transparent background (this is very important and according to your result I think that it has a white background), you just need to change the PorterDuff mode to be SRC_OVER in your getCircleBitmap:
paint.setXfermode(new PorterDuffXfermode(PorterDuff.Mode.SRC_OVER));

I have a question regarding a circular ImageView. When I try to set the background color of my ImageView, it actually ends up being a square and not a circle when in reality I would want the ImageView to be a simple circular ImageView with some text as the image. Here was my attempt.

All I want is to have the image show a grey circular Imageview with the word "+10" in it. What shows up is a simple square Imageview with no text in it. I can't see what I am doing wrong.

First use this to create the bitmap with the required circle shape :

This line will draw a canvas of black color. If you just want to change the color, change the rgb values. For e.g
canvas.drawARGB(255, 0, 0, 0)
will draw a red color bitmap canvas.

I want to be able to use the following image to mask other bitmap. So basically, I'm trying to get the mask image and replace it's black content with another bitmap. Like this for example:
I'm able to use this mask and create a round version of the original bitmap, but that does not retain that orange border around it. Any thoughts on how I can accomplish this effect? Thanks.

I am getting name of the marker on map with clarity but I want increase width and height of the marker name on map.
When I wrote marker name as 'yyyyy' then the text cutting and showing on map like 'uuuuu'.

Can we construct a bitmap from a rect.
I draw a bitmap in a rect and want strokes drawn on the bitmap image become part of the image.
I am wondering if I can construct a bitmap from a Rect so the new bitmap has the old image and the strokes as a single image.

You can always take a canvas to help you create an already decoded bitmap the way you want:
Bitmap originalBmp = null;//Here goes original Bitmap...
