I think you can try
android:calendarViewShown="false"
and
android:timePickerMode="spinner"
in the datepicker xml.

Using Android studio 3.1, and I have a strange problem, I can't edit my UI,

I would't recommand using the UI designer, you don't get the feeling of what you are really doing with it. You should learn how to directly edit the XML file, this isn't really harder and at least you know what you are doing.

I need a SearchView inside a LinearLayout and I have to support API level 7 and higher. Is it possible to use the support-v7 libraries for this? All the questions in here are about using the support-v7 searchview widget in the actionbar. Does anyone know how to use it in the layout? Thanks.

I'm building an application using CalendarView. My issue is, that I don't find the way to customize the calendar style.

Without changing the view model, is it possible to create a binding, in the template, that displays the same thing the MvxSpinner displays by default when no template is used? The default template uses ToString() on the object.
To achieve the same thing, you can use the Whole Object binding. From the wiki, you should be able to specify using an empty Path or a single Period for the Path. Since we've seen some issues reported recently with empty Path binding, I recommend using a Period:

Any reason for such strange behavior?
try changing
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
to
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
in your ImageView. I don't know how you use your XML, but by the looks of it you might also want to change te same parameters in the LinearLayout to "wrap_content". Now you are telling the ImageView to (probably) fill the whole area.

The problem is observed only when you dynamically request for the actionbar from the code.
getWindow().requestFeature(Window.FEATURE_ACTION_BAR);
If you do it using styles, this problem is not seen.
