Where can I download proper version of :
Eclipse with SDK
Youwave
Java
All for windows 10 (64bit).
My tools of previous version were working normaly on win7 (32bit). Now in win10 I've downloaded what is recommended on the web for Android programming in win10 but they don't work correctly.
Try Android Studio, which is an official development tool for Android. Eclipse with Android SDK (or ADT) will become more and more outdate from an Android development point of view.

I'm having trouble with the Android emulator.
I am running on Windows 10, and here is my environment:
Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2017
Version 15.5.6
VisualStudio.15.Release/15.5.6+27130.2027
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 4.7.02556
Xamarin 4.8.0.760 (fc93f3f5b)
Visual Studio extension to enable development for Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android.
Xamarin Designer 4.8.188 (c5813fa34)
Visual Studio extension to enable Xamarin Designer tools in Visual Studio.
Xamarin.Android SDK 8.1.5.0 (HEAD/75f8c6838)
Xamarin.Android Reference Assemblies and MSBuild support.
Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Mac SDK 11.6.1.4 (db807ec)
Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Mac Reference Assemblies and MSBuild support.
My Android SDK Platform looks like:
and the SDK Tools is:
In my emulator screen, no matter what device I choose, I get the error:
"No system images installed for this target".
I clearly have installed the Google ARM System Images.
I don't understand why I'm getting the error message.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Charles
Update 2
I would like to thank York Shen, and Jon Douglas for their help. The Device Emulator now works... well almost.
I installed the Intel HAXM Emulator Accelerator. My console script was:
I also selected the Accelerator from the SDK Tools:
When I try to define a new device using the Emulator Manager, I now get:
Obviously, I still have a problem with HAXM. By the way, if you tell me I have to change my computer's BIOS to make HAXM work, I will give up on Android.
I tried to run a default emulator, and it warned me that I could continue, but without any acceleration. A simulator appeared but my application did not run. My application only runs on iOS and UWP.
I'm going on five days in trying to get the Android Emulators to work. No cigar. I contrast this to my experience with the iOS Emulator. That one took me about 1/2 an hour to get running. It was very clean and simple. I'm thinking seriously about abandoning all software development for Android.
Why am I getting: “No system images installed for this target”
As #Jon Douglas said, you are using a deprecated version of the AVD Manager, you could refer to the docuemnt:
As of Android SDK Tools version 26.0.1, Google has removed support for their UI-based AVD and SDK managers in favor of their new CLI (Command Line Interface) tools.
You could refer to my answer for a more detailed answer about how to solve this issue:
Xamarin with Visual Studio not detecting CPU/ABI system image for emulator, even though system images are installed
Update:
If you use the Xamarin SDK Manager and Xamarin Android Device Manager, you need update to Android SDK Tools 26.0.1 and later (which is required for Android 8.0 Oreo development).
You could read this: Requirements. In your situation, upgrade your Android SDK Tools version to 26.1.1:
Update 2:
You need Installing the Xamarin Android Device Manager, then you could start the Device Manager by clicking Tools > Android Emulator Manager:
To help anyone scratching their heads as to why when they install a new version of Visual Studio 2017 the emulator looks different to York Shen above, its because Visual Studio didn't bundle the latest version of the AVD Manager into Visual Studio 15.6.6 (as of 23rd April)
I followed #York Shen - MSFT's answer until I hit a snag on the update of the Android SDK tools. I simply downloaded them from https://developer.android.com/studio/#downloads (Command line tools only, sdk-tools-windows-4333796.zip).
Copy the contents of the tools folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\tools
I have an old mac mini(osx 10.6.8).My laptop was damaged So I need to use it. So i need to install android studio and java in it for development work. But couldnt install java 1.8 and android studo 2.3. I also couldnt find any working older version links for android studio. Is there any way I can do android development in the mentioned setup?
I am learning about android.
I have downloaded Eclipse and Adt .
Now I have to download Android sdk. Should I download SDK as standalone tool or with Android Studio.
What is SDK and what all does it include?
Can I use both Eclipse and Android Studio with Sdk
Is better to use just Android Studio, this is the official Android Development IDE.
https://developer.android.com/intl/pt-br/sdk/index.html
Android Studio help you to download Android SDKs.
What is android sdk ? What does it include ?
It stands for Software development kit, and as the name suggests , it contains the platform (android version specific libraries to help you make apps for android platforms).
It contains different tools to help you install apps (adb tool), collect statistics and view information about the apps running in your devices etc.
Download sdk here
Can I use both Eclipse and Android Studio with Sdk ?
Yes you can , just have to point these ide's to the sdk's absolute path.
Should I download SDK as standalone tool or with Android Studio ?
You can do it either way, the former would require you to give its path to the ide you will be using, either Android Studio or eclipse.
Note
Android studio is the best and developer's guide by google recommends the same as well.
Some features of android studio
The SDK means Software Development Kit and is there for building android apps.
The sdk contains all the libraries you need to run your code on an android device.
Therefore eclipse and android studio can use the same sdk.
I really recommens using androi studio tho.
It is way better for developing android apps and comes with the sdk.
Eclipse was used some time ago but now android studio is the official ide for android, and way more powerful than eclipse.
Android SDK is a software development kit that is used to create Android applications.
You can download Android SDK as standalone and use it with eclipse to develop your android Apps.So you do not need to download Android Studio to develop Android Apps although it is recommended for starters.
You can download Android sdk only from here Or here
Also, The final step before you develop your android applications is to make sure that your android-sdk-tools,android-sdk-platform-tools,support-tools, and your API s are up to date.Check out your SDK Manager "Don't forget to run as administrator".
I'm installing qt-everywhere-opensource-src-5.2.1.zip for windows and I want to be able to use this to create an Android app using Visual Studio 2010. Am I going about this the right way? Will this version of Qt work for an Android app and is it ok to use Visual Studio 2010 for this kind of thing? I'm coding in C++.
Thanks
You should download and install:
Qt 5.x here.
Android SDK (ver. 22+) here
NDK (ver. r9+) here
If you don’t plan to create Android Java apps, then make sure you are downloading ONLY the SDK and not ADT Bundle or Android Studio.
After downloading extract them, open Android SDK (you should have a connection to Internet) and download the desired tools, you have to install at least Android API-13! You also must install Android SDK Platform-tools and Android SDK Build-tools.
Open Qt Creator. Goto Tools->Option->Android settings page and set Android SDK and NDK locations.
Just wondering what is the difference between Eclipse JUNO, and ADT from Android developers site. Which is better to use on Ubuntu 12.04?
To develop android application you should use Eclipse and ADT. Eclipse is a development environment for multiple programming languages. For example, with the Java Development Tools (JDT) it support Java development. ADT (Android Development Tools) is an another extension of Eclipse to support Android development. It adds a lot of functionality to Eclipse e.g. debuging tools which help you while coding and running android applications. However, to run Eclipse with ADT you still need the Android SDK.
The android developers site is always a good start to develop android applications. You will find there everything you need.
