How to upload high resolution image to server instead of compressed image?

Your code will compress the image and then uploading to server. Instead use below code to upload image with original resolution to server.

How to add parameters to HttpURLConnection url.openConnection()

I am recording a video and uploading it to server on button click.
At the same time I need to update a table in my database which has 2 columns, named "userId and filename".
I followed a tutorial for uploading a video,now i need to pass the UserId to php page.I don't know how to do that.

I want to get Json response from httpurlconnection.
before I use httpclient and get httpresponse from this I get json.
but now I don't know how to get httpresponse from httpurlconnection.

upload image with username from android to server using multipart post

i want to upload an image and the username from my android application to my server. i developped this code.
in my database i find the image without username ( value 0).i think that i should use the asynctask but i have no idea how to make it. i want to use this method if it's possible.

If you want to pass an array of FileBody, you can try it like,
reqEntity.addPart("file[]["+i+"]", bab);
This will generate params like
file=>[{"1" => "File" },{"2" => "File"}..]

I am working with the camera on an Android device. I have captured some images and uploaded them to http.
