im trying to put a scroll view inside a frame layout. My scroll view is not scrolling all the way to bottom. this is my xml code. It is working when i give a padding to scroll view. but i need a better answer. because giving a padding will make a white margin below my application. Thank you!

It have outer Relative layout, and inside it there are two layouts whose ids are l_first(linear layout) and slider(relative layout). THis slider layout is a layout I want aaligned to the bottom of the device screen and should take the height of the contents(several layouts and views) inside it. bottom of l_first should be positioned between top of the screen and top of slider.

There are two important notes :
Your linear layout should have gravity bottom, it means it calculate the height from the bottom.
the view which you want to get the rest of space should have weight of 1 !!!
I have a three section relative layout for a login page.
The first section at the top of the page is 1 Imageview and 2 Textviews.
The second section is 6 RelativeLayouts containing 1 ImageView to the left and 1 TextView to the right.
The third section is a Button
The first four icons are ok on any device. The 5th and 6th are both getting resized or not showing up.
I would like to see all 6 but if 1 can't fit dont add it. How can I do this in a proper way.

Since you're using RelativeLayouts and aligning your views beneath one another, it's likely that the layout is extending beyond the bottom of the screen.
I encourage you to use a different combination of ViewGroups, for instance using a vertically oriented LinearLayout inside a ScrollView.
I am having a weird issue that I am not sure how to fix. I have a RelativeLayout inside a ScrollView and this scrollView has it's height set to fill_parent. So does the RelativeLayout. Still, the contents are not filling the entire screen and it's going only to the wrap_content of the last layout inside this RelativeLayout.

I have faced this problem before. Just Use android:fillViewport="true" in your scrollview and it will fill up the screen.
