In ExpandedControllerView the mute/unmute button is working reversely in android sample app compared to iOS sample. Is there any way to change this?
The behavior on the Android is correct; the icon should show the action if one taps on the icon so, for example, when a video is playing, it should show the pause icon so if the behavior on iOS is not the same, please open a ticket for that to be addressed here.

I am building a Trusted Web Activity based on a Progressive Web App. Mostly everything works just fine, but the moment a web push notification is received by the device, in the android launcher the chrome app gets an indicator (small dot on the icon) instead of the actual TWA. I am using a virtual device from Android Studio (Android API 30) for testing this. I expected the indicator on the app icon instead of the Chrome icon. After clicking on the indicator the dot on the chrome icon disappears.
Screenshot of Android with indicator on Chrome icon
The first try was that I built it based on the svgomg-twa example and now I tried to create the TWA with bubblewrap explained here. Both options result in the same behavior like explained before.
I am happy to provide further details, but I am missing the starting point what could be responsable for this indicator behavior. So please just let me know if you need some more information.
I would be very happy if you could give me a starting point to figure this out.
Thanks in advance,
Matthias
I am making my own android application and came across a weird issue. I've got a few floating action buttons into my app and in the editor they look just fine. But when I upload this app to my phone or to the simulator, an other strange color appears which even moves when I touch the button. (the lighter blue is what I am talking about).
What is this feature and how can I turn this off?
Thank you for your answers in advance.
I am trying to make the default tock sound work when you click something in an app, but I have not come across a way to do it without recoding a lot of the app. Specifically, I am looking if a button is pressed I want it to make a sound. When I'm on my android for example, if I'm in Fb or gmail when I click something it makes a sound. I am using Ionic 1.2 right now for the app. Even when I use an emulator, it doesn't seem to make a sound - and it definitely doesn't do it in ionic view
Is it possible to lock the screen on Android (similar to guided access in iPad) ? I have tried few of the apps but they do not really lock the screen down. I want my two year to use it to watch videos and that is the reason behind it.
This works beautifully on the ipad (unfortunately its broken now).
No you can't do it in android. the hackaround for this you would have seen in other apps like dim brightness and fullblack image over the window.
are you looking for a ppl or writing a new program but don't want the user to close it or switch screen?
if so you may try to disable the home button the android deivce and set a password to prevent the user from exiting
don't know if this help
I want to make an in-app widget, that can pause/play and switch music forward/backward for a lockscreen app for Android. I've tried some different ways, such as working with mediaplayer or Intent, but this didn't help me. I need my app to control music from all the sources: web browser, native music app, social networking apps with music playback support and so on. Something close to that is made in Sony Xperias as a widget. The difference is, that mine won't be a widget, I want it to use inside an application, that replaces the native lockscreen.
Hope that my question is clear.
I've found the answer for Android 4+ versions:
