Add Google Places items into ListView - android

I am implementing an application that shows the nearest restaurants. I want to have two activities, one to show the restaurants in a map, and the other one to show in a ListView.
This is the code to retrieve the data an add markers.

I get a NullpointerException. Is this not enough ? Could somebody help me ?

I used great tutorial from Androidhive, link here. Did you check, do you get something in onPostExecute as a result ? Where it become null, on parsing or on retrieving?

My onLocationChange method is not being called

I have downloaded an android map project. And now i want to do something like this and i have implemented all of this thing but i am getting that on Location Changed method is not being called in my project but in other this method is being called. In that case, you have to request location updates as described at developers.google.com/android/reference/com/google/android/g‌​ms/…. You should do this in your onCreate() method. Your current location listener is from the incorrect package for your use. Use the location listener from the Google API package –
They should all be from the com.google.android.gms package. Make sure you are uniform when using the API
In order to use the onLocationChanged(Location) callback, you need to register your location listener with the location manager. Something like:
locationManager.requestLocationUpdates(LocationManager.NETWORK_PROVIDER, 0, 0, locationListener);
Since you have implemented the locationListener interface, for you it will look something like:

When placing markers on map activity the camera move to the marker

Sounds like you don't want to move the camera, so you should probably delete them.

Getting the phone number of nearby place

I've been following this tutorial on displaying nearby places, in my case I need nearby hospitals. I'm able to show my current location and display nearby hospitals. But what I want to do is add the telephone number of those hospitals being displayed. I've tried adding formatted_phone_number in my code but it doesn't display the correct phone number but instead displays "-NA-" which is the default in the event that there's no number available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

In MapsActivity.class, function getUrl() is taking "Hospital" as one of the arguments which is not in the list of supported types. So, the result type is default, since it doesn't match any supported types.
The response will give you all the places nearby search request for places of type 'default'. To make a request to Nearby Places API to get nearby hospitals, pass hospital instead of Hospital.
In the code, you make a request to Nearby Places API, formatted_phone_number is not returned in response. For more information, refer to the documentation.
To get the phone number(formatted_phone_number or international_phone_number) make a request to Place Details API with the PlaceId.
To get more clarity, enter the url in the browser and look at the response.

How to implement draggable map like uber? I am using Google maps v2. Actually i got the solution referring this post and sharing my complete solution here

Logic is Simple we need a framelayout and add a map and marker layout inside that framelayout then make maker layout gravity to center and get latitude and longitude of the centre point of the map on camera change
